One of the most dominant displays from a backman I have seen in a long long time. Contested marks, intercept marks, composure, lace out passes and a goal to top it off. He wont get that kind of freedom against the better sides but holy shit he was good.

Ridley can play as a key back. But we saw yesterday just how much better he is in the third defender role. McKay, Lav, Reid are vital to allow him to play the Stewart role, which is where he won his Crichton.

We’ve also got to figure out how to keep him on the park. ~86 games in 8 years isn’t enough.
