We are essentially replacing a Nick Kommer's spot on this list with a relatively young, established AFL player with a point to prove, for one year..
If it doesn't work, no problem, everyone moves on.

To be honest I don't mind it, despite my comment above.

He won't be gifted a game so will have to do the hard yards to earn a gig. If that makes him a better footballer and provides value to the club then good, if it doesn't work for him next year then it's only a 1 year contract.
