I've been talking him up since we recruited Joel Perry. When they played alongside each other at Tassie you could just tell one could make it (unfortunately that bloke wasn't on our list at the time).

We're talking about Nathan Grima, not Ian Callinan.

Narni has done an exceptional job on his opponents. fair to say the only reason he switched opponents was move thompson the quieter forward at that time. this was to no effect because whoever thompson went on that forward influence on the game rose.

His effeciency is always so high, its been 100% ive noticed in the paper on a couple of occasions, bloody awesome. Cant wait for the media to pay him some attention

GO ROOS

Narni is the guest on Kangas Corner this week...10.30am (WA time) Saturday (12.30 Vic time)
Can be heard in Perth on 91.3 Sport FM, or streamed live at www.sporfm.com.au
He's usually a real character, so should be entertaining listening.

Will be good to hear from the form centre half back of the comp, especially after the Friday night game.
Good on the club, for making him available. :thumbsu:

I Really Noticed it. No Grima, No Kangas.
He would have kicked the $hi& out of J.Pod if he had played.

Ankle injury I think.

We missed him terribly.

Shit yeah. Threw our backline out of balance completely. Forced spud to play as an undersized KPD, which meant he got beaten by Pods when on him and we also lost his drive off the half back line. I'm kinda glad it was an ankle because for a bit there I thought it might have been a tactical decision to leave him out.

Aside from the obvious defensive benefits Grima brings, we missed his composure when we had the ball down back.

He is our most composed backline player with the ball in hand, and it was obvious yesterday when we were scrambling.

Massive cog in our team now.

We missed Narni badly, beause narni would have locked down jpod, this would have freed spud to attack across half back and given us carry through the midfield.

He does a lot of stuff you dont see on TV. Points out match ups and directs rebounds. Very, very good leader of men down there.
