Hurls said it was feeling fine but wouldn't commit to say he was definitely playing

Adding to that, he's on the footy panel this week and the first question they ask is about his calf. Not sure exactly what to make of it, or the fact he's doing a lot of media stuff this week. Sounds like unless it's 100% right he won't play, conservative approach missing one week essentially gives him two because of the bye (if finals). Sounds like they will be conservative, but that's just my interpretation, it's not explicit.

That's okay, I'm not even sure that Fremantle has a key forward.

People were saying that in the lead up to the last time we played them... then this happened:

Taberner: 18 disposals, 9 marks 7 contested, 6 i50 marks, 4.1 goals, 1 GA.
McCarthy: 12 disposals, 7 marks 1 contested, 4 i50 marks, 2.1 goals, 1 GA.
Kersten: 16 disposals, 9 marks 2 contested, 4 i50 marks, 2.3 goals, 3 GA.

Blue moons. Hopefully they don't come up again.

TBC had a one week foot the week before. Soreness as an excuse to 'rest' players in the peak of their careers who shouldn't need one?

Calves seem to be much trickier than most other injuries. It's usually at least a couple of weeks if you've got even the most minor strain.

He's definitely not playing according to Mick Warner FWIW.
