His composure and ability to play either side of his body for an 18yo is so overlook in this Rising Star debate it's actually laughable.

the thing with this boy that has pleased me the most is actually his durability -he seemed to be injured a of the time in his top age year, so to play every game is an achievement on its own.

If there’s one thing we can be sure of, it’s that he’ll never die of a stress related illness.
It’s ridiculous how cool under pressure he is. There’s always something special about players, that make the game look so easy.

If we're getting really silly - the player who comes to mind for not being a mega-accumulator, not being quick or super athletic or the guy racking up highlights.. but having a knack for being in the right place at the right time for his team..

After watching the replay, at the little scrimmage with Chom and Lynch at 3/4 time, just like the Carlton game where Hewett sniped Xerri, FOS was straight in to fly the flag, impressive for a 19 y/o, he's got a lot of strings to his bow already, imagine when he gets 50-100 under the belt.

Went at 100% again. Rarely makes mistakes. Skilful. Tough. Star.

In pretty much every situation he does as well as you could expect a player to do.

At one point h was one out with Thilthorpe on the wing and got beaten for the mark, but jeez he played it perfectly and made him earn it.

Jesus what a player this guy is. Not a heavy accumulator, but when he has it, you know he'll use it. Knows how to run defensively too. Has that in spades. He's a keeper. Needs a massive extension on his contract, ASAP. Should be our #1 priority in the offseason to lock him away.
