He’s been a joy to watch this year, hard to believe he’s a first year player sometimes. Feel like he will be the pick of his draft year when it’s all done and dusted.

Opposition can't afford to let the ball go anywhere near him, he is an absolute killer and the very definition of a foundational piece.


Once he's ready for full time midfield duties, he'll be the one to balance LDU's weaknesses defensively and get him off the chain offensively.

McKercher as the 3rd when we're steamrolling, Wardlaw when we need to halt opposition momentum, and everyone else needs to get in where they fit in.

Xerri can hopefully learn to trust these guys a bit more as they mature, focus on getting them the footy instead of (currently) rightly thinking he'd better do it himself.
