Well obviously, we didn't but Krackours called him a future premiership player according to some on here we are no hope of winning one in the foreseeable future so i figured he must of been traded being sarcastic.

He is at least in the conversation alongside Curtin, Langford, Roberts, O’Sullivan for their share of votes, and Levi Ashcroft’s numbers are similar as they should be surrounded by the mids he was but gets credit for being there.

Reid an unfair comparison given the roles they play.

Just would love for someone to acknowledge the influence he had at our club particularly defensively and in the areas that go unnoticed.

Yes. The only slight knock would be that at times, he slows the play down when it's time to move it on quickly.
I guess it will come with experience, and he has a natural instinct not to waste the ball, so feels safer slowing the play down but retaining the ball

Your answer is, he plays for North Melbourne. If he played for say Collingwood or Richmond for example, he'd be favourite.

We like to flip flop on our views of the merit of awards depending on whether it's a North player winning them, but the fact is, his role is almost entirely comprised of stuff that the idiots in the media gloss over.

Any footy fan and (by some miracle, if they exist) media pundits who have a modicum of understanding of the game will know the value he brings to us.

Not too bothered. Frankly, Ashcroft, one of the major favourites for the award, is one of the least damaging Rising Stars I can recall in recent years. It's quite often a Mickey Mouse medal

Tough mate, he's another deserving of an A. Bloke might just become the best we have. Has a bit of cnut about him too, stands his ground well.

He was good and would be a B+ if I gave a + but wasn't for mine performing vastly better than expected. Agree he could be the best.

I was oh so hoping that we won…not so much for the four points, but so I could shove it back in GHealey’s face from the comfort of my couch for saying that it was “a bit late to fly the flag” when FOS gave away that 50 in the last.

I'm sure Clarko pumped him up plenty were it really counts around the club and boys.
