Liam Anthony and Brad Green vs Bryce Gibbs and Rich

I know people jump on the Anthony bandwagon and he may get like 30's or not even get a game, but yeah his preseason is nothing to look past. Then you have Green who can get 130's and is one of Melbs more important/big possession getters.

Gibbs is starting to show why he was a top pick and could be set for a huge season and Rich is seen as similar to Palmer, just a better kick and could get an average of 70, but then again Brisbane have a better midfield than freo.

If i start Hill, he'll average 50-60 and both my backups will struggle to get games. Don't start Hill and he'll average 70 in the first few weeks and i'll be convinced to start him again therefore be down points and trades on everyone else. Always happens.

A feeling, yes. Went for him instead of Pav. Pavs price will drop at some stage but I think Buddy might get out of range fairly quickly. Well thats my thoughts

I initially had Hill in my starting lineup, but in the end couldn't risk having two players on the bench who I wasn't totally sure would get games every week (ie Broughton, Suban, Petrenko et all). I ended up going with Hill and Suban on the bench as I feel they are the best two from Freo and went a little lighter in the backs. If he starts to fire and scores 70 on the bench, all well and good.

Rather be safe than sorry.

Anybody's thoughts on Brad Johnson? If I put him in for Giansiracusa I can swap M.Brown or Beams on the bench for Ziebell. (Probably Beams out of the two).

he'd probably have to average 65-70ish to justify the pricetage.

I actually got no doubt he'll score well, it's whether he can stay on the park, that is my worry.

Knights was on my super shortlist. i reckon he'll kick on, and is very suited to DT.

my only concern was playing 22 games.

I know this was posted a few days ago, but anyone who did pick up Swallow has been given a late reprieve (Swallow has taken Liam Anthony's spot in the side). Should rack up a mountain of tackles (and hopefully a stack of handpasses as well ).

Obviously from time to time there will be a need to create new threads for topics which do not fit into these categories however if the majority of is completed in these 8 threads this will help keep a reasonable level of structure on the board.

I actually got no doubt he'll score well, it's whether he can stay on the park, that is my worry.

Just so everyone knows who has him - broughton got 26 touches in the wafl on the weekend - a call-up isn't far away me thinks

in reference to dempsey - i agonised over dempsey or raines - and went dempsey. He scored really well at the start of last season from memory before being injured

edit - he had 2 good games and looks like he was injured in the other 2

port's midfield looks very capable this year.

CCornes or S Burgoyne will get the main tag - and pearce will be able to roam free
