59: St Kilda - Andrew Phillips

60: Collingwood - Ben Brown

Interesting you've got the GC giving Dowler a second chance. I could see a club taking a punt on him, but wouldn't it be more likely to be a rookie pick? No need for GC to take Lynch at 7 as Essendon won't be too interested. Better for GC to take Gorringe at 7 to keep him away from the Bombers.

Nothing wrong with Cripps Axel.

I like it from the Richmond perspective. Heppell, Young, Newton and Lester there's a lot of good skills and versatility there. Well done.

Nice work TD.
gee i hope we don't go KPP with both 44 and 45. Mitchell, if he's there, then bang, definitely.
with the other pick i'd be looking at rankine, newton, or maybe green or smith if they fall.
they seem slightly better fits, 2 KPP's are likely to rot away in the vfl for 8 years with reid, brown, dawes and cloke all 24 and younger, Taz there as on field cover, or as the sub. with Jack very adequate back up, especially with a good uninterrupted Pre season.
fingers crossed for mitchell, because he's a big game player, and if he worked hard he could start to put pressure on certainly Jack, and possibly Dawesy (doubt it, dawesy's gonna go BANG ;))
But yeah, 1 small with goal sense, 1 tall would be my preference.

The Hawks still have 5 ruckmen on their list including two (Lowden and Grimley) taken in the last 2 drafts. I doubt they will use their first pick on a ruckman.

I like Cripps and hope we do get him if we don't select Heppell. We've stated that we're very interested in Green and Cripps will probably be available at 31.

also really thinking about little millera, either with 77 or a rookie pick. (i hope 78 is young.) 170cm's, sure, but we're not looking for a bloke to take pack marks, we're looking for a forward crumber who puts on pressure. from what i've hear that's nathan phillips weakness. (pressure)
also millera scored a 5/5 on buck's kicking test. one of only 11 to do so.

Adelaide will more than likely take a midfielder with pick 14 and wouldn't pass on Bodie Smith if he was still available at 14.
Don't be surprised if Adelaide takes Tim Milera with their last pick if he's available.

18: Carlton - Matthew Watson
33: Carlton - Thomas Gordon
41: Carlton - Warrick Andreoli
18. Watson
33. I.Smith/Wilson/Tape
41. Mitchell

That.

If only it was that easy. :)

I doubt we will we draft two KPD with our first two picks...Our needs for tall defenders aren't at crisis point...We will take the best available player with our second round...Someone high on our rankings might slide to our second pick.

Why would the Gold Coast pick Dowler at 48?

Adelaide don't need KPP, they won't let Smith past. So while I like him, if the mock unfolds the way you have predicted, we'll take Smedts. Pitt is also probable, I would love one of him, Prestia or Andreoli at 23. I would think 36 is early for Sinclair (West just got a new 2 year contract btw).

WC need a KPP more than Guthrie I'd say.

Oh and we have pick 57, not GC.

Another underestimating Polec.
He clearly will go 4-6......no doubt about it.
I have him at 4.
There are some who believe Polec has disposal issues under pressure which were high lighted in the SANFL finals. I however don't believe that and hope that he slides to pick 14 but that's just wishful thinking.

Want Gaff at 4, so happy with that. But the last thing we need at 26/28 are inside midfielders. Pretty much everyone on the eagles board agree we need a pacy, skilful outside midfielder at 26. Someone like Cripps, Andreoli or Green. Then at 28 at KPP, such as Cook, Litherland and Tyler Chalwell.
And if Lamb slides to 26, there is no way we'd pass him, he's exactly what we need!

With picks 26 and 28 according to your draft order before that, I'd expect to go Lamb at 26, Chalwell at 28:thumbsu:

Why do you rate Crocker ahead of Conca?

Just think Conca is a more well rounded player (to date) than Crocker..

Crocker has a bigger hurt Factor then Conca
