The Sunday 11th phase of BigFooty's maintenance and upgrade has been completed. Reactions are limited for now. Search is rebuilding. Scheduled Posts are back! Other upgraded features may look/operate slightly different. The styling and colours will change over time.
Due to a number of factors, support for the current BigFooty mobile app has been discontinued. Your BigFooty login will no longer work on the Tapatalk or the BigFooty App - which is based on Tapatalk.
Apologies for any inconvenience. We will try to find a replacement.
One thing I don't like about some of the KPP players being talked about is that I think they fall into a bit of an in-between box in terms of size. Players in the 190 -193 cm range (eg Tomlinson, Kersten, Haynes) just don't seem to be big enough for modern KPPs, and are generally just a bit too big to slot into the midfield - of course there are exceptions (Fev & Bradshaw to name a couple), but I think they need to be a minimum of 195 -197 cm these days, so I hope there's scope for some more growth in these guys.
I think of blokes like Collier, Cornelius, Lester, Macguire & Karnezis who seem better suited to being second or third tall in the forward or back line. I feel we need some taller KPPs who can pinch-hit in the ruck when our sole ruckman goes down, and hold their own as the number one in the forward or backlines - we are looking for replacements for Brown and Merrett.

For those interested Phelan is doing a phantom at 12 today.
I think they will make Tomlinson a priority, but I don't think they'll need to pull the trigger until 7, to keep him away from Brisbane. There's a bit of late mail today that they might take Wingard, which would mean Port Adelaide gets a shot at either Hoskin-Elliott or Devon Smith. I think Longer will go to GWS at a later pick possibly one of the ones from 9-11.
Emma Quayle said:Hi. I think Devon Smith would be the man if Wingard's not there. There's a bit of late mail for Wingard to GWS, so it could well happen.

I haven't read your blog, but I have one question: how could a female journalist possibly be an expert on anything related to football?
Thanks NateSomeone should ask if she has any mail on the Tasmanians.

Phelan has gone with Longer, Greene, Talia and Jordan Kelly.
If we took Longer and Talia, I'd like us to go with a flanker type with the 4th pick.
Also wouldn't mind Merrett, Schloithe or Webster - all taken with his next few picks.
