2011 Rds 10-11 Trades Mega Thread

Thinking Fletcher for Stefan Martin, then Armitage for anyone at this point. Armitage + 160k spare should get me either Ablett or Swan I guess.

Trade my D7 (Duigan, Stanley or L.Thompson, whatever circumstances dictate) probably a week later.

Krakouer in the next two weeks or so, may recall N.Riewoldt, or wait for Yarran to go down. J.Brown's breakeven over the next few weeks has potential.

Libba by round 16, and then I should have about 4-5 left for shits and giggles.

Not too sure yet.

Probably just going to trade in downgrade options for next week (Jacobs and I.Smith if named) as i am looking to bring in Newman for Stanley and Watson for Harris after their byes.

Krakouer -> Chapman (or maybe Sylvia/O'Keefe) [not 100% sure on this one, but I think Chappy will tear it up against GC]

Jacobs and Lynch look tasty, Depending on how others go McKernan > Jacobs and Knights > Lynch could be likely.

Might jump on the Enright train though because he's every chance to hit 130 + this week. We will see.

Downgrade a cow (Harris/Swallow most likely) and upgrade Tapscott to Chappy/Silvia/Harvey...probably Chappy.

The problem this week is... who the hell do you upgrade?

Lower will skyrocket for a few weeks yet, as will Harris, Krakouer and Libba (probably). Heppell and Darling are damn near keepers. Many will have to upgrade Tapscott, Knights too. But other than that, most of the popular rooks are flying and don't need to be traded yet.

I'm thinking I might have to miss out on Jacobs because of this. Don't have anyone really to trade for him unless I trade Bewick who hasn't made much money at all. Toy also an option I guess.

Going Sylvia in case I have to trade out the Geelong/Carlton players during finals time.

Don't wan't to be trading too many of them out as I already have Gibbs, Judd and Selwood.

Sylvia doesn't have a bye in the SC finals which is good and he seems to be scoring well and is an MPP like Chappy too. Plus I don't have any Melbourne players in my team either.

Might look to go Tapscott to Sylvia and Thompson to Jacobs, for the reasons JM alluded to.

Then the week after, go Libba to Mzungu, then Knights to Pavlich. Give me the full house and some decent MPP for the multi bye round.

Yeah thought that might've been the case. I was thinking ROK for the same reason but he's nowhere near as unique as I thought he would've been.

I traded out Higgins for ROK this week.

Still pissed off about Tapscott as I should have had Conka on the ground instead. I put Goodes in my midfield as I got ROK up forward now and started creaming my pants at how good my midfield was looking and all logic went out the door that Conka would most likely outscore Tapscott.

Midfield looked really great on paper with Goodes in there -

Swan, Judd, Selwood, Dal Santo, Goodes, Libba

(Harris, Conka, Hibberd)


I want to get Boyd in there as my last midfield upgrade.

Tapscott > Lynch, then Matera or Krakouer to Chapman next week. He should have a BE around 130-140 so hopefully the rest of the Cats keep him honest against the GC.
