On that think swift, dalziell, weedon, neates and wilson should be delisted. Hope to keep stevens even if it is unlikely and from the rookie list move on papertalk, mascoulis and hamp. Personally think that while some players like mitchell and blackwell have obvious faults in there game i'd much prefer them as depth on our list as opposed to guys like swift and weedon. Dalziell too for that matter.

**** yer. Lets cut any potential depth we have... And you have got to be joking re Mitchell.

Of the AFL listed I would say Griffin the best and then Dalziel and Brown both quite good while Brennan showed glimpses. Having seen him live again Weedon really lacks intensity and doesnt seem to be improving. Swift was horrible I don't know what langdon was smoking - I see very little point keeping him on the list doesn't do anything particularly well. Koby had some good touches but didn't do as well around cthe stoppages as I was hoping.

Has Howlett been bad at ground level this year? The commentators harped on about it a bit. Thought he looked quite composed. Another HBF for the fold.

Swift was alright. Happy with Brown played a good solid game. Dick was shit. Looked tired and underdone. Needs a preseason. Razzle Dazzle worked his ass off.

Koby did some good things and his kicking has improved a lot, but he is possibly kidding himself if he expects an afl team to hand him games if he can only manage 15 possessions as a powerfully built inside mid at wafl level. The guy is not ready for full games at AFL level, unless he's playing for one of the bottom 4 sides. He doesn't really have the hurt factor to afford to not get much of the ball, and seems to lack the tank to be an accumulator.... I can't really seem him becoming the superstar midfielder that we'll regret losing. He's no Brad Ebert!

If ever the Eagles needed an excuse for a cleanout of our fringe players, today was it. Not that our club EVER does that sort of thing anyway.
The stats and the bit I listened to on 6PR gave that impression.

Wouldn't mind a summary from those at the game. eg; Brown didnt have big stats but I hear he was excellent as a one on one defender- as thats the role we are developing him for prehaps someone can add clarity.

All are simply WAFL standard.

Used to have big wraps on Brown back in '09. But Schofield has overtaken him in the dashing 3rd tall role. Not convinced Brown can take over in the 1st or 2nd tall defender role.

Swift is WAFL standard. Dalziell worked hard yesterday but is WAFL standard.

Dick is not the small forward saviour a lot of us claimed he would be. Hope we chase Garlett.

Brown has actually been really, really good over the pat 4 - 5 weeks in the WAFL

The games Brown played this year in the AFL showed he was well upto the standard. Teams would kill to have a player like Brown. Glass is the only reason he isn't in the best 22.

Geez who would have thought Bigfooty is full of negative Nancy's? Oh wait...

Brown is very good to have as depth, Dick has shown in previous WAFL games he can star, Stevenson fairly solid as always, Stevens goes hard, Dalziell runs hard, McGovern shows promise and Swift... well he tries hard. That is all.
