2010 when we beat pretty much every team in the comp at some point (bar Saints). .... Easts beat us 4 times FFS

He really does make us look stupid every time we play him.

As for the games so far. Pretty much as expected. if you aren't 2/2 and aren't a Parrascum tragic or Novacastrian .... Give tipping away

Saints over an improving Newcastle. Bennett won't work miracles this year but it will come.

Brisbane quite comfortably over a rubbish Parrascum outfit. What they do when Hindy retires one can only guess. Not sold on Brisbane yet, let's see what they do against competent opposition BUT they should be right up there this year challenging the Warriors & Tigers

I think Brisbane looked shit for large parts of that match really, very reliant on Hodges in attack (always going right). Parramatta have a fiar bit of improvement on them as well. Not a great match.

I think Newcastle have alot more improvement in them than St George after that match. Jason Nightingale would be close to the first player I'd pick in a squad if starting an NRL side though, perfect footballing attitude.
Newcastle's starting forward pack played terribly bar maybe Snowden, their bench was very good though

Agree on Brisbane. But it's R1, & NSW is underwater so we won't get a decent indication for a few weeks yet of what they can do

Was that the one that was ruled forward pass? I thought it was a fair pass and should have been a try. Gee Billy's last try was gold.
Was an un-Melbourne like performance. Great in attack, but woeful in defence. Ball handling was woeful.

3 weeks for Tahu (Before any loadings are added) is overkill, but no doubt he'll get it to satisfy the stupid out there.

Of course they will. Besides looking at the players themselves, they play 12 games in Melbourne. Are still a good enough team to win the vast majority of those games.
