Thoughts on Watts? I watched him closely last year and have him in my team at the moment. Any huge role change? Or will he still be playing across half back?

Will play the quarterback role, yeah... If he gets in a good preseason for the remainder he could definitely be a good option, especially given he should be listed as a defender. He had a great patch in the middle of last year but his average would be lower than it was during that period because he got injured and was quiet on his return.

Who else is Back/Forward DPP that people are using in combination with Watts???

Here's the list of Back/Forward DPP's

Jack Watts
Greg Broughton
Daniel Merrett
Ash McGrath
Lachie Henderson
Jordan Roughead
Lynden Dunn
Steven May
Bret Thornton
Graham Johncock
James Sellar

Nathan Bock
Lewis Roberts-Thomson
Tom Williams
Josh Bruce
Kristian Jaksch
Brent Staker
Tom Curran

Interesting, thanks for that list.... Bock could also be an option if he plays a lucrative lead-up CHF role. Lord knows no-one else in that GC forward line demands the ball.

Worst forward line in the AFL.

A bit harsh to make Cameron Pederson the sole DPP of Ruck/Def - bit useless!!!

I'm gunna be watching Taggert pretty closely through out the nab he could be a real steal I think, Viney will be a lock in my team for sure, Watts Toumpas Blease I will also be following closely ...

I've got Viney locked in

Toumpas? Clark's price?

Clark will not be available round 1, so forget him.

Toumpas is a distant second to Viney, uses it beautifully but may take a little longer to get used to AFL level while Viney will jump straight in.

boo! Which forwards are looking at a break-out season ala Howe?

I tihnk my last build made use of B/F DPP including Watts. Should get a lot of cheapies as the quarterback for the Dee's.

Wonder if anyone can give me a DT perspective on these players:

Will Sylvia's minor setback perhaps affect his scoring early? Will he get more mid time?
Gawn to get games? 5-10?
Viney a lock.
Grimes to be back by Round 1? More mid time as well?
Byrnes HFF with stints in midfield? Considering him if he hits 75ppg per game.
Kent and/or M Jones to be frequent contributors?
Nicholson a huge smokie to improve average to 80ppg?

Thanks

Will Sylvia's minor setback perhaps affect his scoring early? Will he get more mid time? Sylvia will be mid, rotating forward for rests.

Gawn to get games? 5-10? Don't pick Gawn. Still on a modified program.

Viney a lock. Yes, for every single SC'er!

Grimes to be back by Round 1? More mid time as well? Near uninterrupted pre-season, will be *ing good this year.

Byrnes HFF with stints in midfield? Considering him if he hits 75ppg per game. Will be heavily rotated I would assume, it's impossible to say until NAB cup re: this.

Kent and/or M Jones to be frequent contributors? Jones from all reports should be a go-er.

Nicholson a huge smokie to improve average to 80ppg? Not on your life. Can butcher the ball which will screw him in SC and one of the 5 players going for 1 spot.

Any chance of Terlich playing Rd1?

Hi Demons,

is Michael Evans up and about or still on the recovery trail?
at 108K presents a truck load of value if fit and raring to go... any news is appreciated?

He is certainly up and about at the moment, seems his back problems are behind him. The coaches seem pretty high on him so I wouldn't be surprised to see him play at some stage in 2013, but I don't think it will be early on.
