I believe people are assuming that leuey will make his money but not be good enough for a pemranent keeper towards the end of the seasons so when hes at peak trade leuy for a forward by switching cox into the ruck in the trade

So what I think you are saying is start Cox as a FWD and Leuy as a RUCK. When Leuy peaks, trade Leuy to a bottom price R/F and switch Cox into the Rucks?

I think people are overrating both Goldstein and Leuenberger. Goldstein has not demonstrated consistent scoring potential for the price and Leuenberger has missed a lot of footy. For the price Leuey is in my starting team but I am not basing my strategy around a certain and material price increase.

You dont even have to trade leuey for a R/F in the trading process you can click to trade leuy out, opening up that spot, then sub cox into that spot and then just choose any forward

Yep FIB is onto it. Once you push Cox into rucks that will come at a time where you have 2 top end rucks obviousily one being cox and both being keepers unless injury on unless you can somehow improve your side which may come from a blooming ruck run by someone.

So you wont need that extra cover with Cox DPP youll just use the 2 trades a week once you reach that point and pick an on the bubble forward rookie and make some quick coin.

Lets not mistake anything this year. To win you will have to finish with the very best team top 6 backs, top 6 forwards, top 2 rucks and top 8 mids. We have 44-46? trades to do this. Its gonna happen, it will just be who can get there quicker and who can make the most points early by researching fixtures to a tee.

Goldstein has not demonstrated consistent scoring potential for the price

Without McIntosh he averaged 99 in 2011 and (IIRC) 92 in 2012. He's shown consistent scoring potential well above his price, let alone for his price.

unfortunately I had him when Sandlilands monstered him late last year, I won't be going there again.

I dont think it was that high?

Edit: It was only 85

I assumed he was injured in the game in which he scored 24, so I didn't include that. Turns out he was just really, really shit that day.

Still, I'm backing him to average 90+ in 2013 with a full year without McIntosh.

he was worse than shite dude... proceed with caution

He stil has avg 99 and 85 2 years in a row respectively without HMAC. Those scores to some could suggest a minimum of 85 and a maximum of 99 or 100. Not bad for a 79 priced player.

Also the thing i like with picking him lets say he gets injured you can start with Daw and possibly Currie aswell because one of those would fill if a serious injury hit and at least give some scoring ability as the umber one ruck (both are mature aged)

Yeah i read an article someone wrote about the whole North Melbourne run and carry game and how that seem to really hurt Goldys scores. and to be honest, he wasnt injured or anything like that and with HMac out posted some crappy numbers, os obviously the Scott gameplan could be a huge factor. The guy raised some really interesting points and stats and its scared me off of Goldy, and rightly so. the only thing i still question is how come Hmac could still score well but not Goldy. if Hmac could post a 92 average then im sure Goldy could post some half decent numbers if he pulls his finger out.

In saying that though, I have gone with Cox, Roughead in the fwds and Sandilands in the ruck with Berger. Roughead came off an achillies last year with no pre season and still smashed it. has had an uninterrupted one so far, and heard from a few serious hawks fans we can expect to see roughead all over the ground this year doing what he wants, which = +6's galore. Plan is to ride the berger train and swap Cox into the ruck with Sandi using that combo. If Sandi does go down as well, I also have Roughead there to cover him and he can fill Sandi's spot. in the meantime, while players like Pavlich, Thomas etc try to find there feat after interrupted pre seasons and i get a good luck and which other almost premium forwards like Wright, Martin etc are travelling well, I can bring one of them in mid season for either Berger or and injured Sandi, instead of taking the risk on them from the start. I know what im going to get from Sandi if he isnt injured and I'm expecting a decent price rise from Berger like everyone else is, so have opted to go with this plan for now.

What is the point of mid/ruck, when there are no other mid rucks?

how can I get him to be a midfielder without trading him if I have him as a ruckman

Confused?
