Imo one of the most reputable football resources on the net.

Here's their 2013 Mock Draft:

The Vikings drafting a Centre in the first round?? You sure it isn't a gag draft?

John Sullivan is the man in the middle of the OL for the Vikings for the next 5 years.

With 2 WRs going at 21 and 22 (and I can't see the Bengals taking another 1st round WR either) I would expect the Vikings to look at DT, ILB, CB with their pick.

Would love if we traded up to get Te'o, With Ray Lewis' retirement immanent he'd be the ideal replacement.

Don't the Jets have pick 9?
yep - nfp haven't updated their mock with the current draft order.

drafttek.com has a mock done today (http://www.drafttek.com/2013-NFL-Mock-Draft-Round1.asp) which has the correct order (1-20)

With the number of trades increasingly dramatically under the new rookie salary scales any mock is bound to be completely wrong after the first 5 or so picks.

The value of the nfp site is that they assign draft grades to all the players and therefore you can look at the players that might be available to your team at various points of the draft.

One player I'm keen to track is Denard Robinson from Michigan. He played QB but is being touted as a potential WR, CB or RB. His rise up the boards will be dependant on what position he decides (or is advised) to choose and the subsequent results of talent evaluators....

I would think Vikings would look into WR for their first pick then ILB or CB with their second as recovers seems to be the biggest hole we have

NFP's draft coverage has gone downhill this year after the guy that ran it for the past few years (Wes Bunting) decided to take his career in another direction.

I believe that Russ Lande (formerly of Sporting News) does it now, but you get the sense that he doesn't actually do most of the work (or at least he didn't during his latter days at SN) and that he assigns a lot of it to interns which is why the quality isn't as good.

As for the Ravens pick in that mock, I would HATE Alec Ogletree being our 1st round pick. He does not belong on a 3-4 D

IF he doesn't go top 10 there is a possibility that we would trade up. Doesn't seem likely though. Would be amazing if it did happen

Yeah trading into the top 10 for an ILB would be crazy but some of the Mocks I've seen recently (like this one) have him going around or after pick 15.

Tyrann Mathieu is another side story to the draft I'm interested in. He'll probably go very late or undrafted though.

Ill be keeping an eye on clemson receiver Hopkins to see if he nominates. He had a monster game today and is a 1st round talent.

May stick around for another year in college though as clemson could be a top5-6 team next year.

If hopkins goes pro i think he will be taken by the Rams with Washingtons 1st round pick around 23-24.

oh and if demontre moore goes pro no way he slides that far. pick 6-7 at lowest. could be best pass rusher in draft. good fit for browns i think.

In my opinion the best site is nfldraftcountdown.com, Scott Wright knows his stuff and is usually pretty much on the money. The site also provides podcasts throughout the leadup to the draft and it's nice to listen to people talking about the draft and draft prospects rather than just reading about it

People can post all the mock drafts they want in this thread.

nfldraftcountdown.com is excellent, so is walterfootball.
Sorry, but walterfootball is a joke this year.
There are 3 Boise State players I'd put money on getting drafted with an outside chance of 2 more, yet he has 0 anywhere in the list of players.

Taylor should go rd 2-3, Gavins 3-5, Potter 3-6, Harper 2-ud, Paul 6-ud

Also, the differences inbetween the link you and sven have is quite remarkable on Glennon. Yours has him pick 6, sven's has it rd 6. I for one would back svens.

When will eople realise we just don't drft LB high? Its a pretty clear pattern to follow... With Tuck's efficiency dropping, Osi out the door, I wouldnt be surprised to ee DE in the first once again haa - Oline otherwise

It's not a competition, Dirty Bird
I don't rely on any particular site's mock drafts, I have about 20 or more sites that do good mock drafts.
Was just posting one to kick-start the 'mock draft' stage of the season on bigfooty.

Sorry, but Glennon being picked before day 3, Barkley before Smith and no one reaching for Smith makes that one a joke.

btw - When are we doing the bigfooty mock draft again?

Can we get reliable people first not people who complain that their #1 prospect went of the board 1 pick before them, pick another person with no write up, then not turn up when their next pick is due?

Two things;

1) That NFP mockdraft looks more like a talent/prospect ranking than an actual mock draft.

2) Riggy, almost every post you've made on BF the past few days has included some subtle little dig at me. Quit it please.

Whenever someone wants to start the thread looking for people to join.

Im happy to run the bigfooty mock draft again..went pretty well last year.

Ill create a thread a few days after the championship games weekend getting people to sign up. I would create it after the superbowl, but people may stay away after the SB is played, so if i start if after the conference champ weekend, more people will see it.

Might look to start around Mid march, Draft is april 25, so a start date of march 15-20 will be the aim.

That's exactly right. It's a scouting resource not a mock per se.

You're the BF Mock Draft LM so good to have you put your hand up again.
