Nothin wrong with the helmet. It keeps his face pretty.

Recording an impressive Level 15-7 to lead the way in the Beep Test, Daniel was also ranked in the top-five for the 20m sprint and 3km time trial.
Good to see Patracca finally getting some love. I've been following his progress closely and as I said a few days ago he will be the best player from the draft IMO. Does that mean he goes pick 1? I think if we finish bottom we are odds on to pick McCartin. From what I've heard we rate him extremely highly and he's shown enough to suggest he will be the best tall forward option in the draft.
As of now, and subject to change, this is my personal preference for pick 1:
1. Trade for Patton/Boyd/Cameron
2. Select Petracca
3. Select McCartin
Just go pick best available and I see a talent gap between GWS's forwards and McCartin, Wright, Goddard etc. Petracca to me looks like he could be one of the best midfielders we've seen for sometime. He's got so many elite qualities and one of the best 1v1 games we've seen for a while. Powerful runner, clean hands, marking, endurance, agility, booming kick, strength in the contest. He looks like the type of player you want when playing finals and a tough brand of footy.

Sydney will use their first rounder on Issac Heeney. Is Petracca a better midfielder than Tom Mitchell from the swans?
How about Pick 1 and our 2nd round pick for Swans 1st round pick and Mitchell?
So basically Mitchell in return for pick 1 and an upgrade of our 2nd round pick a couple of places..
We technically retain a '1st round pick' albeit a high one and land what I'd call a relatively proven young AFL gun mid.
Take Mitchell for nicks in the PSD.... Stuff the SwansIs Petracca a better midfielder than Tom Mitchell from the swans?

You would draft a 165 cm midget with any pick? With his speed, acceleration, cleanliness with the ball, ball-winning ability, disposal, composure, vision, endurance and ability to kick goals it would be hard to see him going anywhere but the top 10. I'd take him with a late 4th rounder or early 5th right now.
GC's wontPick 1 for GC's Tom Lynch...

at afl level?Listed at 167 and has said that he is 170 so it will be interesting to see what he measures up as at the combine.
Other than his height can you name 1 major floor in his game?
at afl level?
tackling, clearence work or anything that requires strength of a mid
I reckon he is 167 with his helmet on, the measuring tape doesn't lie. I was scared for him at some stages, he was playing on a boy who was 184cm which is undersized for an onballer these days and he made him look like Aaron Sandilands, can you imagine him playing against men?
Just not someone who will translate to AFL seniors, unfortunately for him, highly unlikely he gets a spot anywhere.

Does anyone have a lighter? You would draft a 165 cm midget with any pick?

Does anyone have a lighter?![]()
If he was 185cm, I would take him with a top 10 pick. He isn't, so our 5th rounder is a possibility, but I would rather elevate a rookie with that pick. You would draft a 165 cm midget with any pick?
Not Gold Coast, and probably not Tom Lynch. I still like the 1 for GC's 2 1sts and Lonergan, especially if it means bringing De Goey and Weller to the Saints.Pick 1 for GC's Tom Lynch...
