The only people who seem to sweat these issues are Crows supporters.

Honestly, this obsession with trying to "prove" how much the other side sweats issues is ridiculous.

Both Crows and Port supporters overstate every issue the other team has. It's kind of pathetic really.

Port got screwed here and worked out a relatively good compromise as a result. Some people feel disenfranchised, as was going to happen irrespective of what compromise was arrived at. There's no story here - just as there isn't really a story every time you guys get up in arms about how the Crows supporter base is divided and fractured either.

Also there is absolutely no way that "93% of Port supporters were also Magpies supporters". Realistically, what actually happens is the vast majority of Port supporters couldn't give two hoots about the SANFL, so if pushed to pick a team pick the one most closely associated with their AFL team. Trying to spin the data any other way is disingenuous and weakens your own position.

If nothing else this incident has highlighted a problem the AFL needs to fix - that being clubs refusing to have a proper white away strip. It should be really easy - have a proper white away strip. If you don't, we (the AFL) fine you bigtime every time you clash with another club. One season later every club in the league will have one, guaranteed. It's not that hard.

The culture is and has almost always been a load of rubbish. In 05 they capitalised on our injury riddled implosion and an overiding emotion to break a long drought against a West Coast side who were always on the borderline of self destruction. In 2012 they had a damn good side who kicked alot straighter in key moments.

The reason they won those flags had nothing to do with culture and when they win this one, even less so. I have to laugh/vomit each time I hear it.

Agreed the "Bloods" culture, the "Shinboner" spirit, the "Creed" etc are all a load of wank.

What happened last year to North when they lost half a dozen games by a kick, or Port during 08-11 when for a lot of games they gave up and were pitiful, or the Sids going back awhile couldn't win a game.

Every club goes through up and downs no half arsed Culture, Spirit or Creed will stop that.

Hmmmm I think you need to rethink your thought process. Considering I know of plenty of CD supporters that are Power Supporters, My Dad is an Eagles fan yet a Power supporter. Your thought process is what turned the power into a joke before a norwood man rescued you.

That's a few thousand. Your dad would be one of these.

Being an avid fan of sneakers, and having a better understanding than most regarding the manufacturing industry in Australia, I know this already. It doesn't change the response you quoted however.

Port's heritage guernsey looks different to the old one from the SANFL. Are the white stripes narrower or something? Looks average. Hilarious that they have to wear it. If we hadn't finished 10th we could all have a good chuckle at them.
