How have you been treated unfairly? You paid the advertised price and got your bread. Elites gain is not your loss.

Lots of ex-coaches being appointed - hird should be worried as now 3 at essendon. Which one gets the top gig - Harvey? How confident should Essendon supporters be feeling. There's a story in the age online regarding Neeld and Craig being back together. Essendon being Melbournised.

I'm suprised this hasn't rated a mention, Under 15s get in for free to Sunday Melbourne games. Only Melbourne, is this a National Competition or not?

Shit I didn't realise the MCG was bigger. I also didn't realise it's increased its capacity for 2015.I reckon you'll find it has something to do with the 100,000 seat stadium that is never close to being filled up on average non-blockbuster Sunday games... and all the Docklands games (I imagine) will be St Kilda, Western Bulldogs & North Melbourne games....
The only time I've ever pre-purchased tickets in Melbourne has been for finals games. Otherwise I just rock up at the gate on the day and buy general admission and sit in the nosebleeds - Would any of you risk just rocking up to the gate at game day at Adelaide Oval to buy a ticket? It's only because that this access is possible that kids are getting in for free on Sundays -
And as others have pointed out, it many ways kids are already free under a 'family ticket' deal.
There's nothing like feeling persecuted, is there?
I mean, there is enough genuine 'oh it's still the VFL' issues occuring to complain about without bringing up tedious things like this...
So you want the Crows to start letting kids under 15 in for free? Is that an important issue for you at this time?
I want the kids in Victoria to have to pay just like the kids in WA, SA, NSW and QLD do.So you want the Crows to start letting kids under 15 in for free? Is that an important issue for you at this time?
Of course it's VFL favouring, we've had crowd issues in nearly every state. Have kids got in for free?
Port gave away tickets not the AFL.alex has already stated earlier that he got free tickets for his students to Tealster matches when they had the tarps.
NSW and QLD would give away lots of tickets to games...
Did you just choose to ignore that?
I can call it what I want, you've shown me nothing to the contrary.look, I don't actually want to argue the point about whether or not it's 'fair' that kids in Melbourne get into games on SUnday for free... I really don't care...
but don't call it VFL favouring when it's not actually there... in this case anyway...

http://m.afl.com.au/news/2014-12-18/sunday-fun-dayI have not looked into this other tham what's been said on this but is it the AFL giving the tickets away, the stadium or specific clubs?
Is it a case of, every Sunday game in Melbourne - kids under 15 get in free? is it that simple.
It shouldn't be a disadvantage, the AFL should be reimbursing our clubs and offering free entry to U15 here also. You can't tell me that Collingwood would be giving away tickets to something they previously sold and not be compensated.Look, this would be a massive disadvantage to the 2 SA and 2 WA clubs. However, I'd be very disappointed if I lived Sydney or Queensland and this offer was not given to those families.
Especially GWS and the Lions.

I think there is some merit in your argument when considering it in context of the competition for future generation members. It shouldn't be a disadvantage, the AFL should be reimbursing our clubs and offering free entry to U15 here also. I used to have 2 kids tickets and cut it back to 1 last year because they werent that interested and now share. One kids ticket costs about $300. I keep buying it hoping they will become more interested but they are more into soccer. Sooner or later I will have to make a choice though.I think there is some merit in your argument when considering it in context of the competition for future generation members.
It gives the melb clubs an enormous leg up in terms of getting kids to games who might not have otherwise gone.
My son goes regularly and when we have to start paying we will. Our 2 daughters are quite different, they are 50/50 about going to the Crows. We are not paying in advance for them to go because they can change their mind weekly.
If they were free then we would continue to encourage. But as it stands they are effectively lost now. In Melb they might still turn into regular followers as adults.
Of course it is. Two seperate 14 year olds, one pays to go, one doesn't.
Why didn't Port 14 year olds get in for free when they couldn't pull a crowd?
I get what you are saying but there's one flaw, customers in your example have a choice, they can go to either store but that's not reality for footballer supporters in two different states.I think it works better if we are the shop, rather than the customer. There are two shops, the crows shop where you have to buy one of the last loaves of bread because the shop is full/busy and some Victorian shop that has too many loaves and an empty store so they give away a free loaf with every other loaf to get people in the store.
The customer can go to either store but the stores now have similar amounts of customers
