Carlton are and have been an average side for a long time. Even in 2011 when they came 5th they were pretty weak.

The way Bruce is talking it sounds as though he expected a close game. I see them finishing in the bottom third this season.

I said somewhere else that you can add Carlton to Melbourne, st kinda, gws, bulldogs and Brisbane as sides that will not make finals in 2014. Pretty much puts them in the bottom third

Well whatever happens its clear Judd will not taste success at Carlton. Does that mean we can consider him and Eagle for life now?

Got a feeling Hawthorn and Essendon will battle it out in the GF this year. It feels good to get off the Freo bandwagon. They don't move the ball fast enough compared with those other two. Geelong 4th.

I think ASADA have absolutely sweet FA in evidence to charge Essendon players. The whole "blackest day in sport" media conference seems to have been a desperate attempt to get players to dish the dirt on what went on so they could start getting some real evidence. Unfortunately, Dank wont let himself be be interviewed by the authorities and they dont seem to be able to do anything about it. I get the feeling nothing will change with the Bombers situation this year.

Come and join the discussion on the conspiracies forum! Only we prefer rational cogent analysis based upon critical thought than "tin foil hat" types (which is often erroneously used to describe the former). Yes, I'm advertising that forum. It is good. We need more people developing a richer and more accurate understanding of some of the reasons why this world is so f***ed up.

word is that Walters may miss the season with his ankle injury. Bad luck for him as a person, but as a freo player, it's good for the rest of the comp. They will struggle without him, especially with the garden gnome still shitting himself infront of the sticks, and Pav only kicking junk time goals thus far.

And Fyfe doesn't belong in that. Kevin Sheehan didn't half a clue who Fyfe was given his small exposure at a national level and being a late bloomer.

I wanted Fyfe badly in 2009 but i doubt any club apart from Fremantle and West Coast rated him as a first rounder.
