Taylor,Stoke,Kelly,Guthrie,Motlop,Murdoch,Horlin-Smith etc etc nowhere to be seen tonight.

Maybe, maybe not. They lost to them by 110 points up there, we beat them by 43. I think the Swans will be too strong for either team but I think if we can put them under a ton of pressure early we might have a slim chance. Geelong just seem to be struggling to field close to their best side and they don't have the depth they used to.

Ross will be gone in 3 years when the window's slammed shut, moving for a big pay day to either the Suns or Giants where he can ruin their list by not bringing any youth through as well. Actually that is a bonus of him being at Freo, in 2 years they can look forward to 6-8 years of mediocrity. People from WA that say they support both teams because they're both from WA sh1t me! Well there is a finals discount in place as well for big name players as well...it is the insufficient force if you are a key player for the finalist card

Doesn't he have a young family, cant see him moving across the country again. Like I said before, the only reason he jumped ship was because he found himself a million in debt and Fremantle were prepared to offer him what he wanted, without the runaround that St. Kilda was providing. I don't understand the common Bigfooty notion that he would jump ship again.

Throw in Dawson, Mzungu, D.Pearce as well. I expect them to still be in the mix next year but from the start of 2016 onwards they're rooted.

Yeah I'm not sure about next year. The giant will start breaking down more often, along with a few iter older players. They have to get a tougher draw than this year, or at least on par, throw in the usual choke and loss to the saints away and I can't see them winning it next year. Plus a few other sides will improve further, with freo being at their peak right now. Maybe just wishful thinking on my part

Ok, so maybe I was generous with 3 years, I would really think next year is the last year but didn't want to be too harsh, they could trade for talent but doesn't look like many want to come and wear purple. They'll become insignificant again and we will resume normal service, hopefully we'll be in a better position then.
