They will get fit and that will be the purpose.

So Craig is the M Knight Shymalan of the AFL?2005-06 was Craig's golden period. He got so close.
Everything since has been about recapturing those seasons and trying to do it again, only with a bit better ending this time.
We saw him hanging doggedly onto ideas and players from that era. He has struggled to move on. Crow-mo (Vale) illustrated it as Craig writing a kick ass debut novel but then struggling with the follow up. Had invested all his best ideas and strategies first up and couldn't reinvent or evolve.
Reckon Bolton is the perfect build for a bike... But your post made me laugh!Would Bolton fit on a bike? ......not sure his feet would reach the peddles

He has plenty of industry knowledge (like lots of ex-senior coaches). The tragedy of Neil Craig is that with a little luck he could have been a back to back premiership coach, just like Blighty. Had Roo not been suspended for that first final in 2005 and had injuries not cruelled us in 2006 it could have been so different. I think the disappointment of those years is what drove the poor decision making afterwards - by him and the board - and to some extent that is understandable. They rolled the dice and lost.
The comedy is that so many clubs have employed him since.
Blight won our flags through his creativity and coaching flair. Craig had a sound game plan and we'll drilled players because he is a great teacher of the game. Hence he is still in the AFL system. But he could not adapt when the unexpected happened. Blight could not only adapt to the unexpected but create that situation for other coaches. The tragedy of Neil Craig is that with a little luck he could have been a back to back premiership coach, just like Blighty. Does anyone here think Blight would have left Massie on Buddy in 2007?
