Caddy. Showed good signs towards the end of last year, looks like he's ready to take the next step. Guthrie is questionable by foot, handballs a lot, will probably be used as a tagger so I don't think he will have a high ceiling like Caddy or Mots. Motlop has a high ceiling but is a little inconsistent & his knee was still giving him trouble last year so that's a concern. Caddy will end up with the highest average of the 3 IMO.

Completely agree, not starting him myself at this stage. But for players around that 530-500k mark I'd have Wines > Cotchin > Swallow.

Wines could go a little higher but I reckon he has nearly reached his ceiling already, Cotchin needs to blast through tags every week like Pendles/GAJ before I'd consider him. Swallow has previous history and can improve 10-20 points from his 93 point price.

Wingard would be a good option, if he plays in the midfield. But even if he is ready for round 1, he will still be under done, so he may take a few games to catch up.
