Cant decide who to leave out, but cant afford all of them.

I have Pendles, Ablett & Selwood.
Fyfe is as good as Pendles & Selwood but is carrying points and usually misses a match or two with injury.
Parker. Don't know if Lewis will be let as free as he has been this year and Parker is only starting to get into his prime. It's scary how good he could be.

I've left Ablett out and have the other three. This is the first year I won't be picking him from R1. He'll be the first upgrade but at worst i'll pick him up for the same price, same with Rockliff. With everything being equal they are more likely to go down than up at those massive prices. It might be stupid leaving both of them out at R1 but it just frees up so much money and I really don't think you are losing a lot by taking a Fyfe/Watson instead at far more reasonable prices. I think Fyfe will be #1 by years end FWIW.
The real danger here is he carry's on like normal and bangs out 140, 160 or even more and everyone else has him with a big C on his head. You quickly find yourself out of contention for overall and no cash to trade him in. Worst case scenario is he starts slowly and you pull the trigger on him to Rocky or Fyfe prior to rd 3 price change (Depending on BE's). You can't go the other way!

Cant see Rocky maintaining that avergae next year. The edition of Beam's and getting Rich back will have to have a negative impact of Rockliff.
He will still dominate, but of the two of them (Ablett and Rocky) I would say a safer bet to drop in price early would be Rocky. Plus Ablett always comes out of the blocks fast.

Yeah but like I said I think Fyfe is going to be my set and forget captain and the #1 man this year. I feel like I have to try something a bit different from the pack and I think leaving out Rockliff, Ablett, Franklin, Grey achieves that. It's a risk I have to take because I hate only having 4 prem mids, it just looks weak. Could be suicide, could be genius that's why this game is so great.

$700+ is just so much money, if you take Ablett and Rockliff it's nearly 15% of the salary cap! It's madness to be paying those prices when a) Gaz being an old man coming back from injury B) The new dynamic of Beams and Rich into the Brisbane midfield. My foot is down CC!
