Coming from someone who has Jessie White in their forward line. White makes Casboult look like Wayne Carey.
hmm nah they're both duds, and I know you all know it, but you're desperate it seems

Mitch Clark was a very average kick for his first year or so at the club, we cleaned that up and he's now a very reliable kick for goal. The problem with Casboult is his ball drop, it's way too high. As the year went on his ball drop improved, if he keeps working on it he will be ok.

Stephen Conole just said on trade radio we are waiting on the AFLs compensation decision. It should be known this arvo

If the AFL advise that we won't be receiving Tier 3 compo and we hypothetically then decide to match Leuy's offer, would Essendon give up their pick 23 which is effectively the Tier 3 compo pick we desire ? I suppose it depends what they get for Carlisle, but established Ruckmen seem to always go for overs.

Some may disagree but i would rather have Dawes over Caz. 1. Better leader, 2. More to work with, 3. Professional in preparation. Which would help our young fwds.. as well

I
yep...some of the Carlton games I watched by the end of the game the Team wouldn't want the ball in Casboults hands. His sprays just dont go down as a scoring stat. Frustrating player... is a Elite Mark...still needs heaps of goal kicking improvement
I would much rather that than someone who is a great kick but can't get the pill. Least a Mark stops the opposition getting the ball back and heading back where it came from.

Better Leader?? That must be why a club devoid of leadership like Melbourne are getting rid of him.

I assume that's what we'll be asking for.

We (the public) won't find out what the compensation pick is until we officially decide not to match.

But we'll know what band it is by whether we match it or not. Can't imagine Brisbane will take too long to decide. Band 3, no match. Band 4 and we'll probably match it. We may talk to Essendon first though I guess if its band 4 and tell them we're going to match it. Would imagine we'd want to start trade discussions before we make our announcement given we've got a bit of time.
