My mistake I thought that bolded was part of the article, edited to better reflect the situation but i'm still not happy about the approach we've taken this trade period.

I'm just going to try and cool down after this news as it's already ruined my day.

Here's hoping we don't top this disaster of a trade week off by trading in a few spuds like Greenwood at the last minute with the picks we've just rushed to bring in which would further add to the make or break route we've gone.

19 and 30 are good picks. As long as an asteroid hits earth sometime before next November so we don't have to sit though the first round of the 2017 draft. The picks themselves are terrific.

If Port trade #30 for Greenwood then it wouldn't be too bad

OUT: 2017 First rounder
IN: Pick 19, Greenwood

It would effectively mean Greenwood being traded in for a moderate inter-year pick downgrade, given Port's predicted mid table finish.

Even with Ryder back. Injured players HOPEFULLY not getting injured again. Melbourne will probably go past us. St Kilda will go further. Who knows which other lists below us have improved. Man we are ****ed.

Not a very clever troll mate, Hawthorn's deal is just as bad as ours especially if they use multiple first rounders on O'Meara & his knees don't come good.

really? we finish 6th.... would u give up pick 12 for 19 and 30? i probably wouldnt do it...... 4th 14 for 19 and 30.. sure..... 10th, pick 8 for 19 and 30?

Was melting when I first heard. After a bit of thinking, I'm not too unhappy with this.

It's certainly a risk, but it could pay off in a big way. Have to nail our picks this year and need to make the finals.

Would assume we'll find our way back into the first round next year, somehow.
