Well with the U-18 Champs Started. I felt it's time to Start the 2016 Draft Prospect Thred.

Though I don't see us many Pick 2 at the Most.

Just about our Whole Draft be most likely getting Daicos and Brown.

So I could see us having 1 Pick to go along with Daicos and Brown

Looked the goods in the last quarter against VIC country. Monstered the country defence by himself to shoot a handball to Callum brown for an important goal. Inspiring stuff. Pity we won't have a high draft pick to go after him

Why you like him?

Defender/Midfielder, one of the best kicks in the draft and a smart decision maker. Doesn't find a heap of the footy it uses it so well. Might go before our pick but I've got him late 1st/early 2nd, leaning towards the latter so we're a chance.

I know we have a number of defenders in that spot but I'd be picking best available and develop him into the distributor between half back and wing.

Someone please explain the father son rules to me and how we can use them to our advantage if we indeed do want both Daicos & Brown. I can't be bothered looking up the silly rules.

I feel it is our god given right to have Daicos on the list. I don't care how it happens it just must happen to make me all cheery.

I do hear nice reports about Callum Brown, if he has the heart of his father lets sign him now, I am interested in players that understand that effort is not optional.

GWS have first priority with everything followed by other outpost states.
Collingwood after that can match a bid by rival club.

I would target players with outside speed and foot skills. We have enough inside bulls.

Alex Villis, Ollie Florent, Cedric Cox will be three names I think that could fit the bill.

Alex Witherden is the one I would be looking for who has excellent kicking skills. Coming off a broken leg so hasn't played this year so he's probably someone who may be around our pick. Whatever that pick is after trade week.

Like Villis as an outside mid, heard Florent's kicking can let him down, but has X factor. Cox is climbing up the draft ranks, he has another good TAC game.

This. Smaller, more mobile key forward to compliment the two giants in Cox and Moore. Vice like hands, crashes packs, accurate kick at goal. Need need need.

I wasn't even being a smart arse, I legitimately thought this was a thread about next year's draft. I assumed we already had a thread about this year's draft.

On topic, I am in no way a draft expert at all but I like Battle and Venables. I doubt we'll have the picks to secure either though. I suspect it'll be Brown, Daicos and some other Hine type players. Hopefully we focus on quality ball users and also a KPF but I understand how hard it is to find quality KPFs late in the draft.
