I'm sure both will be taken

Me too, was more a response to a preference the other way.

If we come out with Perryman, Setterfield, McCreadie, Sproule and Mutch on top of the pick 2 selection I'll be content for sure.
I like the look of a couple of the others, but those are my key hopes for our draft.

Can we achieve this with the loss of two picks? ?

I was listening to a footy podcast only this morning, might be the 3AW sports news podcast, and the word is that Essendon is seriously looking at McGrath for the first pick, and that the Giants won't necessarily take McCluggage.

Been suggested for a while that if we miss McGrath we would look at taking Ainsworth, and if the rumours about Smith leaving at the end of '17 are true then getting Ainsworth makes a lot of sense.

Bit of a write up on Perryman
BLESSED with one of the thickest Aussie accents you’ll ever hear, you’d be forgiven for stereotyping Harry Perryman into a rough country lad. But watch the smooth-moving, highly-skilled small defender on a footy field and he’s anything but scruffy. Perryman is the most untroubled player of this year’s AFL draft class. With ball in hand, he has all the time in the world.

Would GWS match a bid say Norths pick 11 on Perryman assuming that pick 15 and 37 are taken away due to the Whitfield thing? or is only one of Setterfield and Perryman looking likely? cheers

SHANE Mumford has been coupled with many adjectives that take a certain tone in the past. Menacing, intimidating, brutal, aggressive, destructive — you get the picture. And you only have to ask Mitch Duncan for first-hand experience. It’s why GWS Academy prospect Will Setterfield walked away from his two-week experience at Spotless Stadium with a new-found respect for the burly GWS Giants ruckman. During an internship at the Giants, Setterfield was the big No. 41’s locker room neighbour.

So sen asking listeners should we lose draft picks based on the whitfield situation, gee I wonder what those balanced Vic listeners will have to say...
lol, sounds like a joke, except that the majority of the AFL focus group that the AFL poll are the same people.
I've not been polled on anything surrounding it so not suggesting that's their modus operandi, just that there is an irony there..
