I have done some research

A fellow poster on bigfooty, though not a cat fan confirmed my info dazbroncos

The 1st batch out of vat is Crown Lager
The 2nd is Fosters

Or at least when this bloke worked for them 10 years ago that is how it was

Sierra Nevada Pale ale a popular version of that too. :thumbsu:

If it tickles your fancy.

Go Catters
If I was living in the USA there's no way in hell I'd be drinking Aussie stuff over Sierra Nevada.
And I bet it's cheap.

It's $90 a slab here.

So, they are one and the same beer, one badged for the local market and the other for the international?

I have never had Sierra Nevada but will have to buy a bottle when next out and about. I just have this thing in my mind it is like Corona which I loathe.
You will be pleasantly surprised.

Better or I will be back here chucking a tanty!!!:D

Look I didn't ask that many questions

Cmon, you are our man on the inside.

Actually, what I was asking is what I have heard...they are the same beer just marketed to different markets under different names.

Yup...

I can get a 12 pack for 12.99. So easily change out of 30 for a slab.

But I dont touch it.

Not a fan.

Boags all the way.

I just polished off a Shepherd Neame & Co Indian Pale Ale. It was not a bad drop.
It is a Pommie beer.

I have gone off the hefe weissbiers over the winter. I will probably hit them again in the warmth of Summer.
I do like Shepherd Neame & Co Indian Pale Ale, in fact I like Pale Ale best.

I'm going to be awkwardly spotted as the odd bod that doesn't drink any alcoholic stuff at all.
Still worth dropping in?
My buddies do a bit though.

I see no issue with it - at least from my perspective, and if anyone does have an issue with that then it says more about them then you not drinking.

No issue at all. Im a light drinker myself- would say I drink no alcohol at all mon-fri and just a few on the weekends.

I can PM u my mobile no. Text me when you get there and ill tell you exactly where we are.

TBH.mid winter, the last thing I feel like is a cold drink. I don't get how much of the stuff some people drink at games, spending as much time climbing over us to get their drinks or to void them.
Give me a thermos of ginger tea any day.

Ok I will ask that

Hmm LA doesn't sound that appealing.
I'm reasonably confident there is more to LA than what to drink

I mean you can maps and go drive past celebrities houses can't you?

Not to mention the beer is watered down af.

Winter (at home) find myself drinking red wine. Beer = footy & summer.
