Sounds good. I've got the whole tribe with me this time, so I'm subject to a few factors outside of my control. I'll still be there about 5.00pm or thereabouts.
It was a good night Strangled Cat . I had to split my night between a few crews as I also had a mate come over from Adelaide whose wife had recently passed away. I could not leave him on his own. You know what it is like being popular. :D

Also good to catch up with some of the old crew who I have not seen for a while. Kitty and Shell . And to meet Vdubs for the first time. As well as Michael, Judy, Doctor Gero, TurtleBots and others that have slipped my mind. (apologies). And to also have a beer with Nakia and Dad a.k.a Willo_ , and to get through the night and still maintain my reputation for not shouting a beer, which is quite a achievement.

Cheers until next time. The Rabbi.

I've just boarded the plane at Avalon. This flight is chock full of sad Crows supporters - my wife included!

It was great to catch up with everyone again, even though I had to leave earlier than desired thanks in part to an early flight this morning.

Nakia Willo_ Hell Kitty The rabbi TurtleBots Shell Doctor Gero Vdubs and anyone else I've forgotten - it was great and until next time... GO CATS!

Lies... you shouted me a drink, but don't worry I won't tell anyone.

Also was really nice to meet Vdubs and to be able to confirm that he is the same lovely person in person

It's funny Willo- you came across exactly as I had perceived you through your interviews and posts- engaging, easy to speak to, warm, friendly.
Hope you get some sleep these next couple of years, congrats again.
Was really good meeting so many -Shell, Nakia, Strangled Cat, Turtle Bots, Dotor Gero, Rabbi, and your good self-at the one "sitting"--managed to fall off one of the seats and had a mineral water in hand! Who needs alcohol?
Missed out on Kitty- next time...

Those dinky little stools ard bloody hard to sit on. I almost fell off one as well when I first arrived. At that point I hadn't had a drop of grog either.

I hope you had your Geelong gear on. That's the best part beating Essendon for the past however many years, boarding the train and coming home to Essendon station with those dumb bastards. :)

And same here, nice catching up/meeting with everyone. :thumbsu::thumbsu:

I didn't wear the guernsey but I did have my GFC hoodie on. There were quite a few Cats supporters on the plane as well - definitely more than I expected.

I could have told you that!
Generally most people I've met from BF have been similarish to what I'd expected. Vdubs was no exception in this regard. Quiet, polite and conservative and very pleasant in nature - someone who I'd like to catch up with again at the next meet-up I attened.

Was he lying in a ditch somwhere between the LOTI and Geelong West?
I seen him roll out from what appeared to be from behind the bar after a search that lasted a few hours.

Without that Melbourne City top you'd have been another face in the crowd. ;)

Thanks again for noticing the MC emblem and getting the ball rolling.
The warmest jacket I have, and was it needed last night!
Just have to get Polly to start posting- he has a lot of good stories and insights.
Just to get this right, were you SOG prior to Nakia? You'd have to be a runner.- fit, lean
