They are kidding themselves if they think they could get within 80 points of GWS in the coming years. I am not confident we can even go with GWS in the coming years and we have a good squad. Gold Coast is going to be another smokey with a lot of talent that will rise quickly in an injury free year.

The fear of either winning flags for years.

Winning flags aren't that easy but they certainly have the talent on the list to sit comfortably as a top 4 team for several years. So do we but whether their is a clear gap in ability between top 2 and 3 and 4 in the coming years will be interesting to observe.

What's with all the injuries this round? Ceglar and Nic Nat, then Franklin and now McCartin has hurt himself. Maybe we shouldn't worry about the margin and just worry about getting past Port without anyone getting hurt.
