The hypothetical Rockliff trade would make sense if Brisbane have Academy prospects next year that they need high picks for.

If they can also get a first rounder for Hanley then it will make their pick 19 less useful. But I have no idea of how many list spots they are likely to have and if they have academy players this year etc. Seems very unlikely to me.

I don't think Hawthorn would take either of the former captains. Maybe Tregove on potential but definitely not grimes. I don't think/want melbourne would get rid of trengove after just signing him up.

And no injuries for the year. We need 30 good players not 22. The Bulldogs won the flag without at least Murphy, Wallis, Redpath in their best 22 and then lost two KPDs in the trade week. More soldiers, not less.
