Shame about Kelly- but not unexpected. I like that he understands the club is offering what it can afford and wont ask for more. It is then genuinely a decision to play for flags or for dollars. In the end I think we all accept we will lose him its just a matter of time.
In regads, to these big offers... I don't have a problem with them. After all we got Scully on a similar one. In the end we renegotiated his contract to make it work....how many clubs will be able to do that???? I hope the buddy one bites them on the arse. It doesn't take much to need to retire... bad tackle...run of head knocks....

Also the spargos were very disappointed about his removal but the draft boards have him between 16-25 so our first rounder could easily be used to grab him in the open draft as Powell is our bes eiligible player and he is rated 20-30

Yes there are a limited amount of over ages permitted to play in any 1 match for the carnival, the overages in the Allies I suspect will be rotated. Listening to last weeks Road To Draft podcast Dogs lists manager prefers to see underagers. Disapointing thing about RTD podcast is the hosts spend time talking about their personal life every week. Furthermore they did not report on Div2 matches and may have let the public know players like COA and Richards were injured, instead he spends 40 minutes banging on about higgins spargo and brander in every episode so far, we know who he wants to go No 1 he is basically sold the same players every week.
