The latest RTD talks a bit about the Allies team, and Nick Shipley is discussed, starting at 4:40 ... before they talk about Spargo & Brander.

My point is more lack of reporting of Div 2 matches and the same names being mentioned every week. There are going to be more than 80 players drafted and there has been good numbers out of Qld and NSW over the past couple of years. Would have thought it was a good chance to throw some names around by Twomey. Spargo and Brander are in open draft and Twomey tells us every time he talks about them, they are getting enough exposure in TAC cup.

My thoughts on changes to our rookie List

Rookie List
#00 Joel Patfull - officially delisted
#38 Daniel Lloyd - retain on the rookie list as mature depth
#50 Sam Reid - retain on the rookie list as mature depth
#25 Tendai M'Zungu - delist if his body isn't willing or retain as cheap mature depth
#42 Jake Stein - retain
#28 Zac Sproule - retain

So basically one change and no elevations for me. Reid, Lloyd and M'Zungu all know that they are depth players and both Reid and Lloyd are eligible for one more year as rookies so why not keep them there at this stage. M'Zungu has the issue of both age and fitness troubles. His body will determine his future

Stein and Sproule are both projects and should be retained as catergory B rookies at this stage. Sproule is the most promising and a second good year in the twos will see him elevated.

Patfull will officially be removed and I would personally fill the last spot on our rookie List with Connor Owen-Auburn. Local lad and a good story.

Martin is a lock to North. Unsure if that is a good thing when it comes to keeping Kelly (although I'm still backing my guy in that we have him for 2 more years) or a bad thing.
