Cutting Boekhorst and picking up Hartung would be a win for us, so I can see why Boekhorst was delisted if that is the case. SOS must be pretty confident about getting him, because we look a bit thin with speed and spread on the outside if we can’t get Hartung across.

Would've made more sense to keep Buckley and Boek and give Daisy the flick I reckon, Buckley a much better kick than Daisy and Boek much quicker.
Both were in the 24-25 age bracket too!

Eeek, that would be a very underwhelming signing. Be disappointed as a dip in the rookie draft vs keeping Boeky on who provides more IMO.

The fact that they made definitive calls with our delisted players confirm to me that they have a plan and now just ready to execute, so I can see another DFA announced soon

Does anyone know if we are keen on hartung?
To be fair, it isn't an ideal situation where we have a bunch of older players around 30 and then the kids...
In say 2 years when the kids are really roaring and we are making our way up the ladder and finals it will hurt a bit that the likes of Murphy, Simmo & Kreuz will be either gone or past their best...it's a shame since they are 3 of our best players currently (Simmo moreso before this year).
Would be really nice if they were all 2 years younger so they could actually be around at at their peak when we're playing finals.
