To be honest, even an average coach could get more outta this lot than Leppa.

Trying to turn a team with a bunch of kids in the forward line into a high scoring machine with a complete refusal to work on the defensive side of the game, which led to mass blowouts was never going to work.

Look at how Bolton has done it. Get the defensive side down first, they will occasionally poach a game, but more importantly, they aren't getting spanked by 100+ every week for weeks on end and destroying their young players confidence.

Exactly. Fix the defensive side first and you give the side confidence that you can still be in the game for long periods. Brisbane at the moment are still somewhat in the game

Same thing Roos did with Melbourne. The first cog in a successful offence is a team defence that wins back possession of the ball.
