Given Caro was spouting forth on The Age footy podcast that the reason Danger got suspended was that Lethlean had been sacked and his successor lacks experience - I wish her understudy good luck.

IMO Sam Mitchell is just about the best, most influential player of this generation. I'd rate him fractionally behind Ablett but ahead of Judd. Absolute star.

Big boast for Weagles with Mitchell moving into the coaches box. He just comes across as a very smart footballer. He's always spoken intelligently and clearly is a good footballer (would say text book quality in quite a few aspects for sure - removing the knees [emoji16])

And to be honest he hasn't played as spectacularly as he did at Wce compared to Hawthorn.
Having said that he is in his final year of footy.

He said it in the middle of last year on Talking Footy and was ridiculed, quite rightly, by the other panel members.

I misquoted him slightly as he said Mitchell would "struggle to get a game at any other club".
