remarkable story. Had a quick read of his bio on the Giants site. Retired while at the Giants and stayed on as NEAFL player/development coach and got re-rookied after 2 seasons of strong NEAFL form. Could have a premiership medallion at the end of the year if he keeps his great form up.

To keep a potentially AA bound Zorko to 5 possessions and kick 2 goals himself is nothing short of outstanding.

Shows a bit every now and then. Can clunk a few contested grabs in a row when he's up and about.
I know full well the position we are in with attracting players but I really dislike the thought of Sicily.. there is an unpleasant arrogance about him.
Either he is getting offered a bit more coin up here and thinks he can walk in to a spot (maybe he can, I dunno) or he is lacking in the mates department at Hawthorn. Perhaps both.

Kicked 30 goals last year, albeit in a much better side. If we had to choose one or the other out of him and Cameron I'd go with Cameron.

Ability is beyond that of an honest plodder, and plays with some flare. Averages 2 shots on goal a game, but is a bit of an in-betweener. 186cms that relies on marking and has a significant leap. Biggest issue is that at his height you would hope that he would apply more pressure acts, namely tackles within the inside 50.

Would certainly offer more scoreboard potency to our forward line as a 3rd forward than we currently have. Needs to develop more on the 1%s, so still not a final product. Other areas more important?

Out of contract end of 2017, as far as I know. Would have thought Hawks would be keen to keep.

One thing is for sure - Fagan would have a good sense of Sicily's value...I reckon we can leave it safely in his hands.

Would love Sicily but going forward I don't know we could fit so many talls into the forward line. I see Sicily as more a smart leading 3rd tall which is something we are definitely lacking and in need of but when you factor in Hipwood, Schache and possibly Ballenden as the ruck-forward we are top heavy. Would be ideal if Ballenden can ruck 85%+ of the game and he can take over from Martin... then I think he could be a good fit but needs to work on his lack of defensive pressure if he wants that role.

A forward line of Lester, Cameron, Schache, Hipwood, Taylor's and Sicily can be very solid considering the oldest is Lester at 24. Even if Lester doesn't pan out we can placed about of rotation midfielder in his position. I can see it working but I don't think we will offer him big money to come play for us. Would definitely go after Cameron first.

For sure I'd rather develop Barrett honestly, he has the potential to be a good forward. Sicily isn't a need right now and we could use the pick we'd trade for him to get a decent young player.
