would rather back what we have in. With MitchR, Christiensen and CC to come in next season, and a pic 1, 15 & 18 plus the other young talent on our list, IMO we do not need others castoffs clogging the list.
What if your home makes you sick?Maybe I am homesick although I am home ???????????????

We already have a similar in Bastinac so no thanks to Miles..I would rather that WA guy who I always forget his name. Bit of x factor n speed.I would be in favour of trying to land Miles if possible. With natural development and an experienced in an under it will only continue to free the likes of Rich and Beams to become more damaging playmakers rather than do more of the heavy lifting.
Prefer him than Hartung.
Now that is a problem lol.... perhaps my bed should be facing east. What if your home makes you sick?
All Schache needed was someone to help him with the feng shui in Brisbane. Now that is a problem lol.... perhaps my bed should be facing east.

Are Bastinac and Miles similar? Bastinac is more an outside midfielder and Miles an inside contested or am I wrong? We already have a similar in Bastinac so no thanks to Miles..I would rather that WA guy who I always forget his name. Bit of x factor n speed.
Nope.... rightAre Bastinac and Miles similar? Bastinac is more an outside midfielder and Miles an inside contested or am I wrong?
Hey, you stole my life!Iv'e been living at my house for the last 24 years and have been threatening to run away from home since shortly after we moved in here.
Let's face it.....bills, lawnmowing, painting, housework, cooking, washing, leaking gutters, dilapidated furniture, faded curtains, and a stupid swimming pool that eats time and money like an insatiable beast.
I don't know why I'm still here
Tim Kelly or Liam Ryan?We already have a similar in Bastinac so no thanks to Miles..I would rather that WA guy who I always forget his name. Bit of x factor n speed.
I'd say thats almost enough though, maybe 1 or 2 more explosive midfielders (which we will address this draft). I wouldn't say we have too many slow players in our best 22 as well, probably just Beams and Lester. This is probably the wrong thread, but are we really still a slow team, our starting 22 MAY have the following in it:
Zorko
Bundy
Cameron
Squizzy
Allison
Cox
The above I would classify as quick or better. Out of curiosity what constitutes a fast team?
yeah him lolTim Kelly or Liam Ryan?
I want Matty to stay, he was fantastic as a KPD in the 2nd half of the NEAFL season and must have been awfully close to BOG in the grand final, he's certainly a better KPD than Frost from what I have seen with us and the Pies and lets not forget he was THE RECRUIT as a ruckman so would be handy backup there as well.Where does Matty Eagles fit in this conversation? Any way we can keep him?
I can completely understand the argument for keeping Josh to his contract and waiting to pick up Charlie for a packet of chips next year, but there was a lot of risk attached to doing that. I was definitely in the pick 18 camp for Cameron and was a little shocked when we gave up 12. But we can't pass up on a player in a weak draft that fits a need, has huge upside and wants to play for the Lions.
Presumably as a rookie. Waiting for answer from Ask Lions Insider thread (prob Monday) about whether The recruit cat B rookie can go into 2nd year. Seems to be no precedent. Otherwise I imagine we could nominate him as Cat A rookie. Spots on rookie list likely to be tight.Where does Matty Eagles fit in this conversation? Any way we can keep him?
Well said D.R. I really hope Josh can get over his feelings of letting the Lions down, life and happiness is more important than a misplaced sense of obligation or guilt to a footy club.An interesting trade period for the Lions. I think Noble and co. got the right balance between what was best for the club and what was best for the players.

Josh has been battling some serious homesickness and some mental demons for a while now. IMO, as much as he wanted to, he couldn't produce his best football in Brisbane. Without giving away too much, Josh really, really wanted to carry on his dads legacy at Brisbane and was stoked to get to the Lions. The people responsible for drafting Josh with the #2 pick should of, and did select him with confidence. As happy as he is to be back in Vic, it wasn't easy leaving his number 23 Brisbane jumper. In a way he feels like he has failed someone. Those of us who love him, know that he hasn't though. Hopefully Josh can have a successful career at the doggies and big Connor can develop into one of the best big men in the comp. On a side note, was rapt for him to get to the dogs. Would of hated him to end up at one of the big 4.
The club has done everything in its power to support and care for Josh during his time in Brisbane. I know that AFL football is a serious business, but it is wonderful to see that we have people at our football club who genuinely care about the welfare of our players. I'm extremely proud to be a Lions supporter. Bring on the draft!

Move on Josh and fulfill you potential as a footballer and a person.
