Freo don't own their 2nd rounder..
Yep, didn't Steele Sidebottom dine out on his 10 goals for years?Seems insane that the Miers bloke can kick 50 goals in 17 games, and be considered a firm 2nd rounder.
The blokes drafted ahead of him must be unreal players...
Edit: The 1st round midfielders are all kicking 2+ goals a game. Some with bags of 6 and 7.
7 goals in TAC =/= what we think 7 goals means
I'd prefer Matera over Fasolo

I'm pretty sure we bounced him in 2013 when he came knocking..that bad boy imageIf in 18 year old Dustin Martin arrived on our doorstep we'd have bounced him.

What happened? You think he only came here to up his tiger contract? If we would have offered him big $ at the time he would have comeHe definitely did not come knocking, and we certainly did not 'bounce' him. Let's shut that down before that idea starts to spread.
No he wouldn't have. He would not have gone somewhere that would take 7+ hours to fly to NZ to see his father. What happened? You think he only came here to up his tiger contract? If we would have offered him big $ at the time he would have come

Sure, his salary will be overs. I don't think that is too concerning if we have the space considering the players we have retiring soon.
The facts are, you're not going to get a quality player from another side without paying overs in salary.
But let's put it in perspective. This year he's averaging 24 disposals and a goal a game. That would make him 4th and 5th at West Coast respectively in those areas. He averages 100.7 in SC which would place him 3rd at West Coast. He's 19th in the league in total bounces, so he breaks lines.
We'd be bringing in a player who'd instantly be one of our best and who's skillset is scarce at the club.
He's 22, played 80+ games, good size, weight and pace.

I don't think that was happening back then was it?No he wouldn't have. He would not have gone somewhere that would take 7+ hours to fly to NZ to see his father.

Not to the club. They are shit scared of any controversy.

It was 2013He was facing deportation in March of 2016. I'd say he knew in the 2015 off season it was highly likely to happen.
It was 2013
Matera's 2017 was better than anything Fasolo has produced.Whys that DS?
I really hope we dont get fasolo, plenty of small fowards from crappy draft positions can come in and impact straight away.fasolo is dead average and has other issues on topMatera's 2017 was better than anything Fasolo has produced.
And he's much more a crumber than Fasolo too which we need more of.
I could be wrong but I'm fairly certain the rumour that Martin was in Perth talking to WC was drummed up on BigFooty and not reported anywhere else. Even accepting that it definitely happened for a moment, I'd be inclined to think it was us making the sales pitch not him.
There is no evidence to suggest he approached us to explore the option of coming to WC and that we rejected him based on his personality.
