Need to go hard for a Steven coniglio or a Patrick Cripps... need some grunt as well as speed in the middle
You need to target players that fill needs that are currently 3rd or 4th bananas, so they get more game time, irrespective of their names or the state they are from. BTW, Coniglio fits the bill but I've been saying for 7 years we needed to get aggressive at the trade table because you have to pry that type of player loose.
No you don't, but tagger or not in todays game you need to have better skills than Hutchings does, whatever your role.
Add to that, that you actually need to negate, which didn't occur last night.

Can't believe Hurn said his teammate and fishing buddy should play on. It's almost as if he's too close to be objective about it.
He was actually quite blunt and scathing in that article, saying that Le Cras neded to prove that he was committed before making the decision. I didn't think the article, overall, was flattering to Le Cras. Maybe I misread it??

To be fair it's probably not the best idea to give someone a negating role and then stick him on the bench for the start of the game. But he's far too slow to stick with the absolute best midfielders in the game.

True but what he said was the diplomatic things captains say all the time.

When has a club captain ever said that a player is cooked and even though they want to play on the club isnt stupid.

It just doesnt happen.

Think it was because his job was to negate Scully who started on the bench.
Interesting they decided Scully, Shiel would've been my preference.

Hurn on Lecras

Few things going on it seems Hurn reckons Lecras can go on for another two years but its all about commitment to the cause and Lecras needs to prove that he has that commitment to playing on .......

"I think certainly he can if he wants to . That's always the biggest question that Lecra's got to ask himself "
These kents swan around here(Cervantes) on holiday all year...Hurn just trying to keep his fishing mate in the loop...Nothing to see here move on.

barrett was saying hall from GC could be traded . GC want experienced player rather than a bunch of later picks
I would be willing to part with our future first as part of the trade to get it done .

Say our future 1st + masten + Schofield

For Hall +22 +33

Gives us a pacy HFF/mid and
picks
13 22 30 33 48 in the draft
Use our 4th for Ah chee
FA rockliff
If any first rounder was sent away in any trade involving Hall, no matter what the steak knives were, I'd be bloody spewing.

look at the trade it's clearly in our favor . Hall is way better than masten jetta wellingham on a wing . Hall has no problem finding a lot of the ball and sending it forward something we lack big time

Our first rounders should not be on the table.

Be interesting to see how Garlett goes, was keen on picking him up but he hasn't really done much this year
Liked him last week v Swans. Didn't like the result, but he was the one that got Kelly the space he needed to work. Was fighting Crowley, and anyone else. from the first bounce.

Depends on who they're for Carbine Chaos. B graders, no.
