Gibbs is older but arguably a better player

I am glad the Gibbs deal has gone down so early as it will be the trigger that now sets into motion a heap of other trades.

If you look at it in finer detail Adelaide haven't given as much away as it first appeared.

They are now well stocked with draft picks in next years draft ( which is deeper ) and has more SA talent on the offering than this years draft.

If our guys believe all the top shelf mids are gone by 13 , then it gives us a good chance at a larger spread of talent , I am not against the strategy, but I would want all three of 21, 24, 26...... may have to throw a latter pick back their way.
