I feel we will have to try Mr Darcy and Sandi in the same team, one in the goal square quite a lot. If we are intent on bombing the ball to the hot spot as our main means of entering the 50 then it is probably a reasonable option.

One real downside is that it is not a long term option.

I agree that this so happen and probably to the detriment of our side. Neither are great forwards.

Will be a lock as long as Sandi is fit. Best thing for the team and for Darcy long term is for him to play with Sandi as long as possible. Are people forgetting how bloody good sandi is. He is one of the most influential players in the league. Darcy will take another two seasons to build the fitness required to be a 25 game a year ruckman.

Darcy took a couple of good grabs up forward for peel and seems to be developing an arrogance to his play. I think he could kick a goal a game up front for us and as a minimum bring the ball down to the ever increasing pacey mosquito fleet.

I don’t mind Darcy and Strnadica getting some games together at Peel. A full year getting bashed at AFL level is tough, and a possible future scenario is that they rotate forward in our best 22. May as well se what that looks like at Peel.
