Hope to see Bonar debut this year but I think it depends on the form of others and when players come back in, depending on that I could possibly see a debut for the Carlton game for Bonar/Flynn or maybe Sproule
After another preseason I can see Bonar having a good run of games in the early part of next year but he isn't dominating the NEAFL like others have before in order to get a call up and I was surprised Daniels has been in for a debut this year as his stats haven't been amazing

A guy like Daniels won’t ever have big stats but is there to do a role.

His number 1 KPI is to provide forward pressure. I reckon over time as he gets stronger and fitter he will be more an attacking weapon but for now he is there to do a role.

There is a lot of talk on the Fremantle and west coast boards about us wanting to offload Rory lobb, does anyone think this is true.if so, who replaces him. Pruess would be a good get I think, or Darcy Cameron from the swans.

Trade with Freo involving Sean Darcy. Would benefit both parties if he requested a trade

He’s been really good I think. Has crumbed better than any other players in our forward line. Made key tackles. Been a good selection

It's really simple. Both Freo and West Coast need a forward/ruck, and both sets of supporters think that every WA player should be playing at their club.

Therefore, GWS are trying to send Rory Lobb to their club.

The end.

Nice to see
GIANTS Academy member James Peatling has been awarded the Round 16 Tribal Sport NEAFL Rising Star nomination after continuing his superb NEAFL form in their draw with Brisbane. Fresh off a two-week stint training with the AFL GIANTS, 17-year-old Peatling collected 22 disposals, four clearances, five inside 50s and two goals at the Gabba on Saturday, and also picked up one NEAFL MVP vote. It was the fourth time from his seven games this season that Peatling has featured amongst the GIANTS’ best players. A western Sydney product, Peatling played his junior football at Parramatta Lions and made his NEAFL debut in 2017 when he was just 16.

Finlayson will get some big offers from Vic clubs this offseason. Wouldn’t be surprised if he ended up somewhere like St Kilda or North.

Signed a contract earlier this year and I think with Patton out for most of next year I can only see Keefe being replaced by briggs on the list and TOJ will play a defender wing role next year or they could even try him as a forward so has an important part to play next year IMO

I’d like to think that but with a fit list who does he push out? Clubs would be mad not to offer him something substantial, but more importantly he’ll be guaranteed games.

A lot to happen before next season and who would have thought Daniels and Taylor would have played as much this year as they have, I would have had them down for a debut at most and he has come through the academy so I think loyalty will be a factor
money does talk and a good trade offer but I can’t see it happening

Are you guys confident of securing Kelly, Shiel and Coniglio to new deals in the next year as they are ooc at the end of 2019? Or do you believe one of them will depart? Cheers

I think we're more focused on this year and contending next year. Who knows what next years trade period, or even this years will bring

More likely all three stay thoylugh, they've had chances to leave and chosen not to. That's the best indicator of the future.

lol history says most free agents stay at their respective clubs. Players move for
A- success
B- money
C- homesickness

We have success. Homesickness has not been a problem for those three. They have all re signed several times. Might come down to money (treloar/smith) but I know we will prioritize these guys in the re signing process and budget forecasting

So all in all.... who knows? But I would say they are more likely to stay than leave. Reckon u guys might be able to lure a big fish if u make finals this year. If u miss it’s hardly a destination.
