Not much change. And why is Thomas there. Hes gone at the end of the year

Injuries permitting, Thomas shouldn't be required, Williamson starts.

Murphy starts on the wing (doesn't play through the guts anymore), O'Brien demoted to bench and Kennedy in Murphy's place.

Jones is still required in that defence until Weitering and Marchbank are ready.

Fisher displaces Garlett.

Lang doesn't earn a starting spot on current form, but I'm hoping next year he turns it around.

Your exact comment was:

"Traded out players to get draft picks and bottom out".

43 players have been delisted/traded.

36 aren't playing AFL anymore.

You now list 4 and say "doesn't matter what the reasons are" - make up your mind.

I repeat - Carlton are in the shit because they screwed up 8 consecutive drafts.

You can dream up all the crap in the world if you want to.

You seriously have no idea!!
Dude seriously im not here to argue with you and you are welcome to your opinion

I think enough people here know what i mean and if looking at it without bias i think most would also agree if it was another team that was in that position.
Have a great night

and that's before we recruit anyone :) That's whats exciting. That is potentally a fanatstic side there. Over the next 2 seasons we will add another 12-16 new players to improve the list. Some will be ready made and some will be more young talent.

Add Kelly & Lukosius as a start and it improves dramatically

2019 will see a big improvement but 2020 is where I really see us pushing for finals

Can we switch Jones for May, Pickett for Shiel (Pickett to bench), Kerr for Lukosius (Kerr to bench)....

Not a big fan of May. I think Jones is as good and we have Macreadie as well. One of Rowe/ASOS may well play on next year. I wouldn't trade for Shiel, FA in 2019.

Some FA's, maybe trade for Brodie/Scrimshaw then Pick One then 20 & 30 plus BSOS and some late gold. List looks even better in 2019. The main improvement will be from what we already have. So much upside

I was a big Brodie fan but you have to be worried when he cant get a regular game with the Suns.

Too many errors from the likes of Rowe and Jones which cause leakage on the scoreboard, need to find another strong bodied key defender who will be in the system for the next 5/6 years to play on the big forwards when positions or zoning comes in.

I’m prepared to overlook any development at GCS. Basket case.

I think we are fine for key defenders. Jones is still learning and getting better. Weitering will be a gun and there are lots of handy shut down players around you can get cheap

Can we please make a play for Jayden Hunt?
Garry Lyon said on SEN last week that he came back to pre season training in poor condition without any good reason. Not sure we would want players with that type of attitude at our club. We've had too many of those types before.

I’m not sold on him as a player, yet. He’s pretty fast and kicked a good torp, once, but that’s it. Gets found out defensively, can be tagged out of the game and was ineffective when trialled forward. Obviously he is still young so has time on his side to make improvements but I really don’t think he should be on our radar.

B: Plowman Jones Weitering
HB: Docherty Marchbank Simpson
C: Lang Cripps Fisher
HF: SPS Curnow Thomas
F: Pickett McKay Garlett
R: Kreuzer Curnow Murphy
IC: Williamson Dow JSOS Kennedy
E: Cunningham O'Brien Casboult

Required
- 1 x Top three draft pick (Walsh - Lukocious)
- 1 x A grade Mid through FA (Wallis - Gaff )
- 2 x Experienced mids (Tyson + Hall)
- 3 x late draft picks (BSOS, Hickmott + one other)
- 3 x Rookie selections (three young talls)

Further to this article - http://www.afl.com.au/news/2018-07-03/on-the-market-free-agents-still-up-for-grabs - I'd love us to be going hard at the following players (all of which are in the right age bracket):
  • Ryan Lester (25)
  • Josh Thomas (26)
  • George Horlin-Smith (25)
  • Taylor Duryea (27)
  • Shaun Atley (RFA) (25)
  • Andrew Gaff (RFA) (26)
  • Jeremy McGovern (RFA) (26)
  • Scott Lycett (RFA) (25)
  • Luke Dahlhaus (25)
  • Mitch Wallis (RFA) (25)
I'd also really consider the following players for their experience, IP from other clubs and to be on field mentors to our kids:
  • David Mundy
  • Shaun Burgoyne
  • Jarrad McVeigh
Our depth would improve immeasurably if we could snag a few of these and add some more high quality kids via the draft.

Taylor Duryea as a small lock down defender is worth considering and is an area we struggle with.

That's only half the story - there are a plethora of players contracts expiring too.

Looking past the fact that it is more likely that I grow little t-rex arms out of my nipples tomorrow than this taking place I like the idea you are going for.
They'd be so useful too. Big improvement on nipples.

Could hold the newspaper and keep your hands free.

Steven May every day of the week for me mate. Though I don't know/ doubt if he is on the radar/ even wants out of the Suns.
