At least we’ll get to see North Melbourne dragged back to reality. What a painfully average list they have.Draw difficulty hardest to easiest.

Whether we like it or not. This was deserved.
Want better? Do better! WIN GAMES FFS!!!
I say it once again here.
If Carlton want better, then they have to earn it. No matter what the excuses are, a year like this is unforgivable.
Glad we got stripped from prime time. It will teach the club and players a lesson.
I’ve been watching replays of all our 2018 games. With the emotion you see the games so differently. There’s a few things to work on but 6 wins will be a minimum,I see so much upside.
- improved fitness of youngens
-improved strength of youngens
-better decision making out of 50 and into 50
- better decision making when under pressure
- jones Plowman Marchbank to never kick across goal to a player standing still
In my opinion it should have nothing to do with what we or anyone else deserve. Every team should have games on Friday night regardless of wether they are deemed any good or not. Just because that is what you do if your mantra is fair and even, level playing field etc. And that would rightly be a kind of socialist equality in the league. But no its the very opposite. On top of that theres no way to predict which teams or games will be good next year now. So basically the end result is the league playing favourites. There is no other conclusion.Lol. There is no conspiracy against us people.
We are literally coming off one of the worst seasons in AFL history.
We don't deserve prime time based on last year. And to be honest it's probably better we are out of the lime light a bit this year whilst we build back up.
Going down to Geelong? I salute you.
How is it lost revenue when our games were not the lowest rating ones?Gee there’s some conspiracy theories being thrown around. We’ve been taken out of prime-time because as a rebuilding club, many of our games have been low in entertainment value for the average opposition supporter. How many Friday and Saturday night games involving us were dead rubbers last year? Yes that’s lost revenue for the AFL, but it’s not just a financial decision. It’s completely symbiotic, and you can’t on one hand advocate for more games for Brisbane, and then be dismayed at the AFL reducing our number of prime-time slots - it’s a change that needs to happen. I’ll be watching every Carlton H&A game in some capacity anyway.
We came dead last in 2018, and the reality is we’ve had a charmed run getting so many high-exposure games the past few years - and for mainly dreadful results. I’m personally looking forward to seeing some up and coming teams are getting some more coverage, and I’m happy the best Victorian teams are given prime-time priority.
Let’s wait until we achieve some degree of success before bleating about the obvious operative changes that are far more beneficial to the average fan. Smacks of arrogance and entitlement to suggest otherwise.
I have Foxtel for the BBC channel, the lifestyle channel then footy.I do not know how your tv broadcasting goes elsewhere i was going to get rid of foxtel but it looks as though we are not going to get too many games on free to air..
I’m sure you could find a quiet corner. What a shitty fixture. I work most Saturday and Sunday afternoons. Looks like I will be taping most matches to watch later.
Only 2 night matches.

Because some folks want it all.
We sucked in 2018, completely.
When we start winning games we will come back into the spotlight.
Also, at some point this team needs to learn how to win interstate games, so I don't mind the 6 games out of Victoria.
It'd be nice if we could get all Carlton supporters to boycott watching Friday night games. Unlikely to happen but it's the only way I can think of to get them to notice. We need to get on the front foot and voice our displeasure at the draw and the treatment we receive by the AFl.
We need to make sure everyone is aware we aren’t happy with clubs such as Essendon being given these handouts, year after year, while fighting the AFL in court for years..............are people aware that Essendon are trying to get out of Marvel Stadium and move to the MCG permantely?
We need to look after what is best for us with our home games, membership numbers/reserve seating, gate receipts, sponsorships and get the best financial returns for our club. The AFL won’t help us, we need to be innovative and get our supporters back. These ‘fixtures’ do nothing to get our financials turned around and no-one gives a flower.
We are so far away from being innovative and relevant, it isn’t funny anymore. Our club is dying before our very eyes.
Shouldn't the period be after the end of the story? No we should not complain; the draw is fine.
Our club is not dying.
Breath in, breath out, breath in, breath out.
We win games, period end of story. We do not whinge like a pathetic loser would. We win games. That's the job of the Carlton Football Club.
Stop worrying out *, we beat them every year, including next year.

I just get the international membership and use watchafl through a VPN. This way the club gets a bit of support too. That draw holds very little appeal in regards to opponents, days and times. If you don’t have Foxtel already, you better get it if you want to watch any games.
Spot on brotherCoincidence GS, I've just watched our game v Pies....we kicked 8 goals and lost by 20pts.
Agree with everything you've said + add personnel.
Gone from this game is Rowe, Lamb, Wright, O'Shea, Mullet
MK and Plow both gone by half way through 2nd qtr.
Our fwd 6 next yr will look very different. Apart from Charlie, add MM, HM, and any of Fasolo, Pickett + others.
Backs add Docherty, Marchbank and any of Williamson, Newman
Mids add Murphy, Setterfield, Walsh? + others + a fit Ruckman!
That's half the team....
Given a decent run with players hurt or missing, it's when (not if) this team starts to gel, you add a healthy dose of confidence and belief....That's when the fun starts.
Just my opinion.
Dissappinting fixture, but to be expected I guess. Sunday games are a killer as I play footy every second Sunday. Hoping for mininmal clashes.
