I like the idea in theory, but the AFL have outgrown these places.

Carlton's old home ground is the one that could be used for lower drawing games. It would need lighting and amenity upgrades but it wouldn't need to be completely razed. It looks good on TV whenever they've had JLT/AFLW games there.

Etihad looks and sounds terrible when there's only 17k attending games there.

I see AA have taken a ratings hit. I only listen to morning/arvo when driving.

Noticed they now have PAFC as a sponsor with ads for memberships being read out.

Is it my imagination or has this coincided with an increase in Port coverage?

Becoming annoying so tending to switch off.

I went to Marvel with my kids for the kangaroos game, arrived 10 mins before the siren

normally, the area outside the gates is packed and hard to get through, there was literally 5-10 people outside the gate and that's it

when we got in the ground, you usually have to speak up to be heard talking to the people around you, you could whisper. worst atmosphere of an afl game I've ever been to

Tex reckons that Rozee is the best new talent he has seen in his time in the AFL. Given the club is so quick to blame the players when things go pear shaped, maybe Tex should be asking the football dept why they may no real effort to draft this kid.

Gunston cried off home to mum and dad after 2 years. He’s turned out ok.

If we can snag Rankine after 1 then do it I think. Every year they are away is another year to adjust and adapt.

Have they started their arvo show later. I listened thru the tunein radio app, but now when I leave worked at 4pm (Qld time) and put it on, I get Conversations with Cornsey!
