Has taken some of the best overhead marks ever by a Crows player. IMO only Modra clearly beats him.

Was awesome as a hard running wingman that focussed on working into defence. From memory, only had about a season (or less)of it though due to ACL. Was primo fit, worked his ass off and aerially unbeatable, a brilliant wingman. A role I’d like to see Sloane play a bit more of. The average plodder that can tag him at a stoppage wouldn’t go with him when gut running and would struggle overhead when he pushes forward. But nah, let’s just keep doing the exact same thing and letting a C grader take him out of the game.

Adelaide defender Alex Keath toured Moorabbin this week but the Western Bulldogs are still considered the favourites to secure his services on a three or four-year deal.

If we lose Keath to a 3 year deal we are ****heads

When players get a car it's just a 12month lease, they're not actually given the car. What's the lease on a Hilux? $1k/month, not a huge bonus for an AFL player.

They would not even pay for it.

The AFL gives every club a certain amount of money to use to promote the AFL brand and sponsors. The car lease would fall under that budget area.

In terms of importance to their respective clubs are Rankin and Jones similar?

I think Izac would hold far more importance to the Gold Coast compared to Jones in Adelaide.
Certainly hasn’t shown it to date though has he? Wonder how the senior lads that didn’t get a car are feeling?

I’m sure they get looked after in different ways.

however, where does this ideology come into it that everything has to be fair? They didn’t get a car, they can suck it up and buy their own.

Its not like they are hanging around to improve the club.

Every club gets about 5 or 6 to hand out as part of the AFL ambassadorship program.

He may not get it every year but someone does. Like, as an example; I doubt Chayce Jones would get one.
Wouldn't it be nice if the club gave it to someone who needed it.

Get a player to nominate their charity, and imagine what they could do with that.
