Out of curiosity what are you expecting from Patton next season just so I can take note ?
Spreadsheet? lol hopefully Patton can stay on the field if he does we might be pleasantly surprised

Play out of the goal square on 30m leads at the ball carrier, or drag 2 defenders away from TO'B (FP) who floats into a mismatch on a smaller opponent.

3 scoring shots a game + forwardline ruck work.

Nothing fancy there & nothing outside his capability.

I like it. It’s reasonable, achievable and would aid out structure

I unlike others here still hold hope for a guy you've forgotten to mention (or don't rate).
Mitch Lewis. I think its up to Mitch himself if he wants to be Joe Average or step up & become a good AFL player.
Me being the ever optimist is leaning towards the later.
What Mitch showed at the tail of 2019 was genuinely exciting. He can make it.

Interesting that we're not interested in Hollands. If that's true then I guess the best case scenario would be Adelaide or NM take him and we get one of the remaining talls?

Relieved to hear that - far too big a risk. For me it’s Phillips or DGB. If we manage to jag DGB really hope we can get Poulter with our next pick then Downie

I hear you but I think it's close to a sure thing that the Cola Kids will take him at 3.

We all do.

I hope to god I am wrong but his lack of effort to me screams delisted, within the next couple of years.

‘could the unneccesary hit he got from that thug Mumford have made the difference? Maybe he’ll put it behind him.
I am thinking with the upcoming 3 inside 50 at all stoppages that mobile talls’ stocks will rise. Lewis isn’t bad in that respect. Maybe rucking will be the key

it will help Patton least of all

Isn’t he likely to go rookie draft to you blokes?
Well not if he gets bid on he won’t, a few clubs rate him in the top 30 and Essendon have made no guarantees that they will match a bid.

Hi guys. Random question but I have been on both the Adelaide and North boards and they are both having discussions on possibly bidding on Campbell with their picks. Fortunately they are not their recruiters but it got me thinking about what if they did bid on Campbell with picks 1 or 2 what would the Swans do as I could not see us wanting to match the bid with pick 3 and basically lose a top 5 player.

So my question, if in the rather unlikely event North or Adelaide bid on Campbell do you think Hawthorn would be interested in the 2020 pick 3 in exchange for Hawthorn's 2021 first rounder, or is that something you do not think your recruiting team would consider?

They would consider it but probably say no, we are a tom Mitchell injury away from a lock for bottom 4 in a super draft.

I think Hawthorn would j7mp at tha5 opportunity tbh. I believe our list strategy has been to offload veterans and leave some best 22 spots open to give kids opportunities so it’s in our best interest to get gun 18yos in the door this year where opportunities will present next year. Pick 3/4 would next us DGB and Phillips!
