I think we’ll be bottom 4 again
18. North
Then any of Adelaide, Ess or Syd

Opportunity to get a local lad at 4 we’d pull out the stops to get a deal done I think with either yourselves at 4 or GC at 5
Hi all , hope you don’t mind the intrusion
How gettable do you think your pick 4 is?
Would something like 9,23 and Melb future 2nd for pick 4 and a future 3rd be reasonable?
You’re dropping 5 picks but gaining 2 x 2nd rounders
Adelaide may be keen to move up as can allow us to take Hollands at #1 and TThorpe at #4

Would not walk in our 22
Rumour around that GC want Phillips and happy to swap F1 and pick 5 for pick 2
Yeah he would based on what he showed last season IMO. We are severely lacking in small forwards.
This^^The only thing signing a DFA does for us at the moment is limit our flexibility in the draft.
well assess what we need once that’s done
They probably get him at 5 with Perkins big chance to go to North at 2 or us at 4 and if one of us takes Phillips than GC get one of Tillthorpe, Hollands, McDonald, DGB to select at 5 which would be a great result for them.Rumour around that GC want Phillips and happy to swap F1 and pick 5 for pick 2

I think people forget how bad our options are in his position lol.
Seriously who are our options ? Hanrahan ? Morris ? lol.
Apparently Clayton really likes Perkins at 2. Not sure if he gets overruled by Luff or Rawlings though. They probably get him at 5 with Perkins big chance to go to North at 2 or us at 4 and if one of us takes Phillips than GC get one of Tillthorpe, Hollands, McDonald, DGB to select at 5 which would be a great result for them.
Youd think the kid Ronked us.Let's be realistic. Averaged 7 disposals and half a tackle a game, kicked a single solitary goal the entire 4 games he played.
At 187cm, not really a small forward, not a walk up start in our best 22, hardly a better option than Morris.
At this rate DGB might be a show to get to us.Apparently Clayton really likes Perkins at 2. Not sure if he gets overruled by Luff or Rawlings though.
No issue with 2nd chances. Let him prove himself as a man with a year on the sidelines first though to ensure he's learnt from this.Would walk into our best 22 and we were very interested in his draft year.
Despite no conviction though, people on this board don't believe in 2nd chances.

Nah, trade them 4 for 5 and their 2020 2nd. Take Perkins anyway.GC can GGF! They are already stacked with midfield talent and the whole Anderson thing still pisses me off
We have several holes on our list but a highly talented inside mid with speed and a bit of mongrel is exactly what we need - come on down Will Phillips![]()
Yeah Perkins is that big bodied explosive mid that can go fwd and have an impact. I’d rather him over Phillips who I also rate but I’d rather the bloke that has the potential to break open games and win them off his own boot like Perkins and Holland’s have the ability of.Nah, trade them 4 for 5 and their 2020 2nd. Take Perkins anyway.

The fact you like the deal and nobody here does says it all. It’s a crap deal. Crows would have to give your 2021 first pick and pick 9 for 4 and 24 to get hawks talkingHi all , hope you don’t mind the intrusion

I think you're so hellbent on any option being better than Hawthorn's current options that you lose sight of how ridiculous you're being - you're willing to give a second chance to a kid who broke state quarantine restrictions to see his girlfriend, whom he then assaulted not long later.
Sure - let's take that bloke on for the extra 1 disposal a game he gives us on top of Morris' output.
No issue with 2nd chances. Let him prove himself as a man with a year on the sidelines first though to ensure he's learnt from this.
Jesus I hope he gets a 2nd chance just so I can quote this post years down the track and compare the careers of Taylor and Morris if nothing else.
Both played 4 games this season, in similarly bad sides, he averaged slightly more than a disposal more than Morris and 2 tackles a game less. I'm judging it on reality, I'm not sure exactly what you're basing your opinion on.
Surprised you're so convinced that a Pick 36 with questionable passion for the game would be so much better than someone picked slightly later who actually wants to be there.
